Reviews
"Good place to stop by hike a little and enjoy the view."
"This Dam is classified as a high risk Dam and its last inspection listed it in “unsatisfactory” condition. Those in charge of maintenance need to repair the Dam before any major problems occur."
"Fun trail but very muddy. Great for medium-to-small dogs. Parking is pretty limited, only about three spots in front of a gate that says “authorized vehicles only.” Probably a one-and-done for me, my gf, and our small dog. But the falls were nice. Went on March 4."
"This place has changed from the quiet friendly place I visited many times prior. I met a lot of nice people during that time. The fast car driving and trash are the deterrent now. I had to step off to the side of the road into the grass a few times because, drivers would speed over the hill while I was pushing a stroller. A friend and a park supervisor had to pick up trash left after Memorial Day. This was once a nice place to visit and walk. I still do both, but not as often."
"This could be a very nice short hike to the back side of the dam. However, as you near the dam you see an increase in trash. By the time you reach the dam trash is everywhere. I will never understand people that seek out nature to enjoy it, then ruin it for future visitors. There were also many people there to go swimming, but the water is still and due to the trash, most likely stagnant. Swimming is really not advisable."
