O'Neills

"Tired, hungry, and 250 miles from home, we picked a place to eat at random. They were busy on a Wednesday evening so we thought that was a good sign. I ordered the chicken Santa Fe and my wife got fish. The chicken is a pasta dish in a mild jalapeno sauce. It was good but the sauce just tastes of cheese. I couldn't discern any jalapeno flavor at all. There's not much chicken in the Chicken Santa Fe and it needed a little salt but it was a large portion and the sun dried tomatoes were very flavoring The fish dish was a special. It was seasoned well but a little over cooked. She asked for couscous and beets on the side. Both sides were delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Pop-country music playing in the dining area was too loud to comfortably converse, though."

"Food wasn’t special except for soup. Our pies to go were awful. Coconut cream was bland. The consistency of the filling was gooey and thick. Not creamy. Not sure what topping was except thick. Sandwiches were fair. My cheeseburger was pedestrian. $3 up charge for another side except the fries was odd. For $66 it was too expensive for the overall quality."

"I completely forgot to take photos this night. My sister and I had take out. She had the shrimp and baked potato. I had marinated grilled chicken breast... it was absolutely delicious!! I was starving, and I live about 40 minutes away. Even after the drive home and waiting for her to get to my house, the food was still warm and delicious. It wasn't soggy or stone cold. I was very impressed."

"A nice little restaurant that is family friendly or a nice evening out with your special someone. I started my dinner off with the Artichoke dip. It was delicious. Then I had the Sriracha BBQ half rack ribs with a baked potato and spinach. There Tea is delicious, you get a container with sugar water to sweeten your tea as you wish. Pretty neat. The other meals ordered in my group was the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and fried Apples and a Turkey Ruben sandwich with homecut fries. All was delicious."

"I had a fun time at O'Neills. The fried was calamari was cooked to perfection! Would definitely recommend getting dessert with your meal!"
