"Dr. Milman and his staff has always been more than kind to me as well as my parents. He was always patient and explained himself with whatever procedure he was going to perform. He and his staff always treated me in such a professional manner. I honestly didn't want to bring race into the picture, but did so because of the negative review that was posted, and people tend to take reviews into consideration when looking for services."

"I had an overtly racist encounter with Dr. Simon Milman. I cannot speak to his abilities as a medical professional, however, I find it hard to believe that his prejudice won’t affect the quality of care that a minority might receive while under his care. Simon owns a home in Princeton that he rents out. After conversing with me over the phone for a couple of weeks about the prospect of renting his home (and even trying to encourage me to sign a lease from afar), he quickly changed his tune after meeting me and my black family in person. He emailed me after our first face to face encounter telling me that “there are plenty of other houses on the market. Go find another house.” When I probed about why I was being dismissed, he grew irate and defensive but could not produce a valid reason about why he would not even accept my application for the home. Without seeing my application, without knowing my finances and without speaking to any of my references he came to this conclusion. Again, I cannot speak to his talents as a dentist but I do firmly believe that his prejudice may affect the quality of care that certain patients may receive and because of this I feel that it is my duty to spread the word and warn others."

"Had a very good experience here. Left a message on a Wednesday and was called back by the doctor himself who offered me a Friday appointment which I took. I hadn't been to a dentist in some time and told him as much, as well as my fear that I'd developed several cavities. He gave me a great exam/cleaning and treated me for the one cavity I had when he could have "fixed" more without me knowing anything about it. Before drilling he told me about the filling options (silver amalgam or plastic) and their properties and costs. When he was drilling (a shallow cavity he said) he told me to let him know at any time if I was feeling excessive pain so he could give me novocaine. I didn't end up asking for it; though it did hurt at times he was quick to offer me breaks to clean my mouth without me even saying anything first. He told me he offers a whitening treatment (which I probably need) but was quick to mention that the many over-the-counter solutions also work very well, definitely not trying to get me to pay for things I don't need. I'll be using this dentist in the future, glad I picked a good one."

"Hi I'm also black, Dr Milman has been my dentist and my son dentist for years. He has always been kind to me and my son. I left for a short time. Lets just say im happy to be back in his office and in good hands. Dr Milan also has a great staff the girls are very polite at the front desk."
