"The atmosphere around the water body is calm and quiet in winter months. I would anticipate it will kick up several notches in summer months. There are many activities readily accessible right on the same spot. There are playground for kids.. Trails for all ages and pets. Fishing, beach activities, boating, outings, and more can quickly fill up a day. It's for family of all ages. Onsite free parking and boat ducking are so convenient. I highly recommend this park for anyone who wants to get out and have fun in one day."
"beautiful, peaceful water and woods. would love to come back with a boat of some sort. Only negative is there is a noticeable amount of trash on the shore. Maintenance needs to clean up a bit and people need to stop trashing the place and ruining for everyone else."
"This place is quiet which is good for fishing and just to relax and read a book or something. They do have a little post with free books to read and a play ground."
