"My son is on a bike team, so that how we ended up at Bucklodge. Good trail, he enjoyed it. It's very rural, no bathrooms so plan accordingly."

"Nice simple loop trail. Parking for about 12 cars. Usually not busy at all. When parking at Slidell Road it is about 2.3 miles total. Fairly flat and one moderate slope after crossing very small stream you can hop over. It was a bit muddy in some sections but the dry leaves help some. Great easy place for dogs, walking, trail running, and also horses."

"An isolated trail loop with its own unique beauty and habitats. The road approaching it and the trail itself make your feel like you are enjoying a private location all by yourself. A cool summer day would really enhance your experience. The mass tall tulip tree forest is exceptionally beautiful during fall season. The trail is mostly flat and clean, would have some muddy spots after rainy days from horseback riding traffic."

"Maybe about 2 miles of natural trails so if you're looking for smooth, paved surfaces you won't find any here. It's never a very crowded area so if you want to go on a nice relaxing walk to clear your mind and not be bothered by the outside world this is the perfect place to visit. On the downside there are no restrooms to be found but as long as you dont need frequent access to a bathroom it shouldn't be a deal breaker."
