"This is an amazing place to hike during fall, the water is calm and some ppl come for shore-fishing. Either hiking or just sit in a nice spot and enjoy the view, give it a visit!"
"Gorgeous place to enjoy nature, go for hikes on the trails, and to go boating/fishing. Keep in mind that permits are required for both boating and fishing and there are some rules worth looking up to protect the natural ecosystem at the Reservoir. It is also worth noting that this is not a normal park - no entry fees, parking is first come first serve (there are a number of different entrances), and there aren't any restrooms or seating areas."
"Beautiful property! This is not a typical park though. There’s no gate or entry fees. No bathrooms so gotta pick a tree to pee on. It’s one of Baltimore City’s water supply sources and there are some trails and fire roads that you can hike but they’re not marked with signage or trail markers. Because of all this, you’ll rarely encounter large crowds or groups, which is nice. Gasoline boats are prohibited, so it’s nice & quiet electric boats only. Great place to escape & get away from it all for a bit."
