"Taking into consideration that this is a drinking water reservoir, it's disheartening to see the lack of native plants around the lake. Subsequently, there is very little to stop rainwater from carrying silt into the water which has an adverse effect on the fish and the quality of the water. The owner does restrict fuel powered engines and body contact, but that's just the simple easy thing to do. This reservoir needs to be more environmentally friendly which will in turn support the local wildlife, which would make this reservoir into a true jewel."

"Always has been and will be one of my favorite spots to take walks with the family or the dog. With the wide open and scenic views is also great for a solo trip. With most of the parking areas residing on top of the hills around the lake, you’re always guaranteed a great view rain or shine."

"Long Arm has always been a special place to me. It's a great place to take the family weather you're picnicking, fishing, or walking the dog. It has some of the most beautiful sunset on the lake viewing in the area. There is a launch for boats (electronic trolling motor only) and kayaks are allowed here as well."

"Ample parking, trash receptacles and toilets make this a hidden jewel. Trail hugs the shoreline. Mushrooms are bigger than my hand! I've seen kayaks, fishing and dogs, but don't know the rules. No alcohol or swimming. Open legally 6am to 9pm."
