"Beautiful and well kept trails. Fom here we passed lock 28 and 29 and returned. About 6 miles."

"Beautiful trail, with lots of wildlife. Plenty of cute turtles of all sizes and fish of all sizes. I was obsessed with the Fledgling birds they were beautiful and intriguing! There were ducks with their little chicks! Just motivational for a run hike or anything in between especially when the trail opened up after a couple of miles and there was water on both sides. Only downside was lots of bugs I was scared to breathe through my mouth when I picked up my speed. They have restrooms and food trucks! Overall I will be back here for longer duration exercise."

"Nice area to launch a boat or kayak. There is plenty of parking and decent places to fish from the bank. The only major downside was the pit toilets. These things needed to be thoroughly cleaned/sanitizer and pumped. Human waste was nearly to the seat!"

"Great spot to see river, watch trains. Plenty of parking. Bathroom. Easy access to c&o toe path for walking, bike riding. Bonus is the Jamaican restaurant across the street."

"Nice for bike riding or hiking. There are a few picnic tables along the way to stop and rest and have a snack/lunch. Also lots of historical information on signs describing the buildings and structures that made the canal work. Great views of the Potomac."
