"The entrance is a very long, dusty, corduroy road, with gravel that will work its way into the tires, then shoot out from the tires when you get back onto the highway. There are a small number of parking spots, which are free. A small storage unit holds kayaks that are privately owned. A well maintained dock provides a launch surface for them. Leashed dogs are permitted, but they are not allowed in the water. People are not allowed to swim, either, although there were people in the water on the day of this visit. A few benches and picnic tables are available, along with a couple of portable toilets."

"Packed a small cooler and enjoyed a sunset picnic. The park was clean and quiet. A few people were out fishing or bringing in their kayaks. Lovely little park."

"I went kayaking on a Saturday at the lake. The signage has improved but it is still not well marked. There is plenty of parking and the lake is larger than I thought it was. Putting in can be a challenge because there is no ramp. Between the traffic and the wastewater treatment plant, it can be noisy, but it is still worth the trip if you want to get out on the water."
