"I had a very good experience with Alpha Dental Excellence. It started with being in a lot of pain and they were able to see me right away! On a Saturday! From the time I walked in the receptionist was helpful and kind. Another lady helped me fill out the paperwork and she was super nice. From there I was greeted by Lorraine and she was very kind and attentive to my concerns with the pain I was in. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and I felt very comfortable and at ease. I met Dr Nirav and he too was kind and he reassured me that I was in good hands. I found him to be very thorough and clear about the issue I was facing. Long story short, I had a root canal done that day along with a temporary crown. It went really well and I was so relieved that I was out of pain. Thanks to Dr Rav and his assistant Lorraine. She was so nice and very friendly. When I returned for my new crown i was very pleased with the fit. The billing also went well. The finance dept was really helpful. Everyone was super nice and helpful! Everyone from the front desk staff to hygienists to managers to dentists have always been friendly, kind and compassionate. Dr. Mohil was extremely accommodating during multiple procedures I had and never made me feel rushed or as if I was at all an annoyance. From the time you walk in and are warmly greeted and throughout the entirety of your visit, you're treated with respect and kindness. "I strongly advise against choosing this dentist's office! From the receptionist to the office manager, there's a need for a more professional approach. Seven months ago, I visited for retainer replacement. Despite explicitly asking the dentist if I needed the entire treatment again, he assured me to replace the tray only. However, upon returning for the impressions, I discovered that the retainers were now metal, which I had never requested. Despite expressing concerns over several months, I decided to address the issue during a cleaning appointment. Unfortunately, the third time was not a charm. I received a call from Jessica at 7 am on Friday, canceling my cleaning appointment, which had been confirmed the previous day for a time change from 2 pm to 12 pm. Despite agreeing to the noon time, the appointment was canceled entirely, which I found unprofessional. Attempts to speak with the office manager, Cheryl, were unsuccessful, as she was never available. Dr. Patel called to apologize and rescheduled for 12 pm. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the dentist who recommended the retainers should have advised getting a crown first. Not only did I receive an $850 bill for unnecessary retainers, but it also highlighted the unprofessional and money-driven nature of the establishment. Dr. Patel did agree to a discount and acknowledged the issues. I scheduled another appointment for Monday at 6:30 pm. Arriving at 6:15 pm, I was surprised with a $100 copay, despite having insurance. After a 40-minute wait in the lobby, I was told there was paperwork to fill out, which wasn't provided earlier. Attempts to discuss the bill with Cheryl were thwarted, and the lack of interpersonal skills was evident. Save yourself the headache – the receptionists lack customer service skills, the office manager avoids customer interaction, and the overall professionalism of the establishment is subpar. Dr. Patel, is this the kind of establishment you want to run – providing poor advice and taking people's money? Avoid the headache and find another option!"
