"I did not know that I was suppose to report to court. For a garnishment on my account until it was taken out of my check. The letter came after they start taken the money. Very difficult to stop without hiring a lawyer. Upon reviewing my camera the person placed the paperwork work in my mailbox. I did not check my large mailbox on a regular basis. I was at work when this paperwork was placed in my mailbox. Can't reach the lawyers to even discuss this illegal service. Still working on resolving the issue."

"This "law firm" is a joke. They have been sending me my ex-husband's legal mail and court summonses for over a year. I have been calling and contacting them for a year to give them his correct contact information. I am not sure what type of law firm just "googles" an address and puts that on file for legal paperwork but that is what I was told when I spoke with an EXTREMELY RUDE representative today. The last mail I got (on their letterhead with their envelope) was dated 11/5/19 and stamped 11/15/19. I have been asking for a year to be removed from the database attached to his account. We have been divorced since 2010 I SHOULD NOT be getting his important documents in the mail and they are ALSO putting me at risk since I do NOT want him to have my address. Very shoddy law firm and its disgraceful. A simple "googling" of the address would tell you he's an inmate. I would 10/10 NOT RECOMMEND their services and will be posting my review on every website and social media site possible. The people on the phone are also disgustingly rude and try to cut you off and talk over you. Thanks a lot guys for giving a dangerous felon my contact information and putting me and my kids at risk!!"

"If zero stars was an option...I would have selected it.This business is unprofessional and their customer service is deplorable. I was told by numerous reps that Joann is the only person who handles bank levys...and "it is too bad that she is unreachable and has so much work to complete all by herself". Turns out a rep named Paul can also assist me with this. The business put a legal hold on my bank account and then was unreachable. The dept. Left early on Thursday and closed the office on Friday for Easter! Knowing this..other reps who were still in the office perpetually transferred my call and concerns to VM after i specifically asked if the appropriate reps were still in the office! ..leaving me w.o.access to my bank account and w.o. access to pay my debt! Numerous calls and requests for call backs go ignored. When my account was first opened an untrained rep gave the impression that payments could be auto debited...turns out their system is SO OLD consumers can only pay by check! This resulted in a missed payment ofcourse. I will be reporting them to the origional guarantor/ lender and a regulatory agency. The account in question should not have been opened in the first place. I applied for capital one cc and bc they have thd same lender backing them ( Midland Funding) my info was shared w credit one too ( legal?) ..so i received a contract from credit one! The logos are so similar i was young dumb and deceived into signing the wrong contract then immediately charges $75 annual fee for a card with a $300 credit line! Steer clear of these companies at all cost!!! I would like to pay my debt today but can't. What is the point of this levy again? Tip: the ldv reps will be rude and unhelpful until you request to speak to a supervisor."

"I am sickened by the lack of respect , unporffesionalism, and asinine excuses I have received when dealing with this company. My fiancé had a account in collections with them from over 6,7 years ago, we are trying to fix his credit and move forward in life for our kids and family. The past 6 plus years they have not received a penny from us, we called them on a Monday and offered a settlement amount, the following day they called accepting the amount and we paid it within the hour. The funds were available, the check cleared that Thursday. We took all we had available to try to settle and close the account. As it was they were not receiving a penny, we could've filled bankruptcy as it was an option for us, and the company would've have got any money. We were more than quick and willing to work with this company and like I mentioned we paid the amount agreed upon within the hour. The customer service is atrocious, I've not been able to speak with one representative whom I can understand, everytime i call I'm passed along to someone different. I've asked multiple times to speak with a lawyer or someone directly in the Owings mills office since that's closest to our location and I've been avoided and not called back. I've sent 2 feedback emails, and also a account info email and received nothing within the time period they garuntee. The supervisor I spoke with, had the patience of a 5 year old and absolutely no customer service skills at all. I was rudely rushed to end the conversation than when I was trying to ask more questions, he was dismissive and the call was than ended. I understand it's our lack of responsibility that had made the account become in this situation, but for 6 years this company received nothing and within the first 24 hours of us contacting them we had paid and settled the account. We are trying to do the right thing and avoid filling bankruptcy, but now the lack of respect and laziness on their end, I would've rather not given them a penny, considering we could've continue as it has been for the past 6 years with giving them nothing . Instead we gave all we had to try to settle all of this. We originally did all of this to be able to give our children a better life , and credit impacts alot of what you're able to do and receive in your life. Now we're receiving no willingness or understanding on the company's end, so much for thinking theirs still good people in the world. I should've known all debt collectors care about is their Danm money, and even once they've received it they still are insensitive, and unwilling. Not many people who have gone 6 years without dealing with a old account would have handled this as quickly and in the time frame we did. I'm not one to write reviews but due to the way I've been spoke to and treated from this company, I'm sure others have experienced it aswell. We are now on day 7 since we paid the account settlement amount, and still no one is willing to fax us the paperwork needed saying we paid. I will continue to call and hope I maybe get a representative who is actually professional, but if I'm continued to be dismissed I will be personally going to the office in Owings mills, and hope someone in person has better professionalism and will do their job."
