"Office manager ADELE has the patience of a saint! We were in office when a customer was highly inappropriate with her and she handled herself beyond professionally with the patience of a saint. DR BIRON is one of the best doctors I’ve ever met in my entire life. He removed my wisdom teeth (age 32). I had 5 of them. His bedside manner is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in my life. I have severe anxiety and he was unbelievably kind, patient and professional and understanding. I wish he practiced every type of medicine. You won’t find another doctor like Dr Biron. I 100 percent recommend to anyone who needs any type of oral surgery. Additionally my husband came to have his wisdom teeth taken out and they did a phenomenal job of accommodating us even though we were running behind. I noticed most of the poor reviews are insurance related so I recommend calling your insurance company to confirm coverage."
"Poor office management with no regard to time. My appointment was scheduled four months ago for 830am. I confirmed my appt 5/21/2023 via text message. But when I got there, I was told after waiting for 45 minutes that my appt was 9. The office manager was not apologetic. “I’m not sure what happened, your appt has always been for 9am”. Even after showing her the text. What I believe is that my appt was bumped down by another patient being scheduled somewhere between Sunday and Thursday. Their website advertises 5 minute wait times. I did see the hygienist I was scheduled with come out and quietly say something about her first new patient to the front staff.. which leads me to believe there was a double booking and I was overlooked. Again, no regard for me or my appt. Update: I removed the screenshot of my confirmation text since the review won’t post publicly with it"
"I do not usually leave reviews but I hope I can help someone else. They give you a price breakdown but for some reason I paid almost 2 grand and used all my insurance in three months. I asked them about it when they called me for a payment and they said oh we don’t know the insurance didn’t cover it so you have to pay it. The girl on the phone even told me she had to collect the payment over the phone and that I could not pay it at my next appointment a couple days later because I wanted to call my insurance. It felt like they couldn’t explain but still wanted to take the money even though I questioned it. When I got my insurance bill it seems as if they are charging for the same tooth over and over. When I went to my last appt my teeth were still bothering me unable to chew and they told me two months prior that it would “go away with time” they had the nerve to tell me I had to pay $732 when I checked in and when I questioned it because I already paid $700 that week she said my insurance didn’t cover it. Even if my insurance doesn’t cover I feel like a finance person should call to let me know that there is a change to the price breakdown and explain what my next visit will be so I can be prepared to pay whatever to have my dental work completed and plan accordingly. I also am very upset with the work that was done my fillings are jagged and loose they filled in between my teeth to the point I can not floss properly and it lifted one of my fillings. Overall this was a negative experience for me I would highly recommend finding another dentist."
"The practice lost their best dentist (Schecter), and the front office staff is...how shall I say....extremely lacking in attention to detail. If you are looking for a dentist, my advice is to keep looking. I cannot recommend this practice any longer, because the office management is poor, the office staff not well-trained, and office execution is just spotty and inconsistent. I was a patient here for 10+ years, but now decided I have had enough. Poor patient experiences (especially this last one), inconsistent office management and execution on multiple occasions, poor customer focus. They are very quick to demand money (in contravention of dental plan rules stating patients do not pay the co-insurance payment until an EOB is provided) and upsell extra (uncovered) services; but not so quick to make good on their mistakes. Memo to Somewhat Less Than Beautiful Smiles: I'll be telling all my friends about my experiences and why I am leaving you."
"I just had a surgical extraction, today, bringing the total amount of teeth remaining in my mouth to 4. I have had a lot of dental work over the years. Dr. Biron performed the oral surgery. I was very pleasantly surprised with his syringe insertion technique. I almost didnt even feel him stick me with the needle. It made the entire process tremendously better and I am very grateful for his knowledge and ability. I would definitely recommend Simply Beautiful Smiles and especially Dr. Biron. I am a very pleased patient."
