"It was one of the most unique adventures I have ever done. The walk from the parking lot is about 1.5 miles of flat pavement each way to the tunnel entrance and dress appropriately as it can be 15-20 degrees colder inside."
"I had an awesome apocalyptic visit to the Western portal of the Ray's Hill Tunnel. It is amazing the condition this trail and tunnel are in. A little urban art, of course, other than that, this place is almost frozen in time. Bring your bike and flashlights, and unless you are up for a walk. Parking is not too far from the Breezewood exit."
"UPDATE BELOW June 2022 - Such an awesome yet creepy place! So glad that Pennsylvania hasn't torn this down or blocked it off. They've left it raw, open and welcome for the public to explore, which makes the experience much better. October 2023 - Same as I remember, except better due to the fall colors. Will definitely be back! As always, be respectful of the rules of the park, stated on the sign near the entrance. Explore but leave no trace. (I do have to admit, though, that the graffiti makes the experience that much better.)"
"Pretty cool place to walk. About 2 miles in and two miles back to get to the tunnel. Graffiti on the roads. Lots of slightly... Interesting.... Images. You may have to redirect your children if they walk this."
"Great abandoned site. Open to the public, and safe to move through the main tunnel and other easily accessible areas. Be careful, though, abandoned exploration can be addictive and not all locations are as welcoming."
