"This agency was super fast to sell me a policy but when it came to a very unfortunate situation of a robbery that ended in full blown identity theft, the company was nowhere to be found. In fact, they combatively victim-shamed me, spoke to me in a non-plus and even combative tone. One of the worst experiences in my life and I was left nothing. You are NOT in good hands with Allstate and you are NOT in good hands with Gary Bendik."

"My mom home insurance was canceled even though she paid it over phone . We had to call allstate to get reinstated and have wait 24 to 48 hours for insurance . I will be call monday make sure insurance is paid for my mom. It paid for other one but not one house. I def will be look if this happens again. "Called to get a corrected binder for a mutual customer. The lady who answered the phone is horrible, will talk down to you, belittle you and she actually cut me off twice when I was trying to offer a simple solution to correct their mistake. I was told to give her a minute twice when I was trying to speak, so when I was quiet and gave her minute she proceeded to ask me if there was a problem? Umm, yes ma'am, you are the problem. I deal with around 1800 insurance agents a year and have a stack of insurance agent's business cards on my desk as thick as the bible. I would NEVER recommend this company to any of my customers looking for coverage for their new purchase. Gary might be a nice guy, as I had no interaction with him, but the lady answering the phone is doing his company a huge disservice."

"I have been with Allstate for sometime now and in the past month I have been lied to and mislead several times by Mr. Gary Bendik. First it started with switching my home insurance for a reduced rate and how easy it was going to be. This was not the case and has cost me a great deal of effort to fix the loose ends. I would have never switched but I trusted Gary. When I spoke with him on this matter he made me fully aware that Allstate was getting paid though. I recently obtained small business insurance through Gary and once again he assured me that he could get the coverage. I let him do his work and when a question was brought up about wood flooring I said this is a very small portion of my business. Gary told me a few times that this would be okay and he would work with the insurance company. I received a call from Gary letting me know that I would have to write an email response to the wood flooring restoration stating that it's less then 10 percent of my business. I asked a few more times is this going to work, he said yes. I complied and then next thing I get a termination letter in the mail yesterday because of the wood flooring issue. I asked for a refund of the money I paid to acquire the business insurance and stated I am not happy with his performance. He sent an email back informing me that I was not clear to him with the hardwood flooring. That I should seek another insurance agent. I am about to loose my biggest contract due to no insurance and this is the type of response I get."
