"Hotel has not been renovated since 2012. It’s VERY dated. Bathrooms are extremely small. Since it’s an old building, the heat or air is forced. This means it’s either freezing cold or in my case uncomfortably hot in your room as well as meeting spaces. Would not recommend. Newer hotels are nearby."
"NO HOT WATER! Will never stay here again. It's a nice modern place. Food is great. Staff is awesome. Location is amazing. But its plumbing sucks. When the hotel is full, it can't provide hot water. Tried to take 6 showers while there. Got hot water for 2 of them. Talked to other guests, every one I talked to experienced the same thing - cold water from Friday evening to Sunday sometime. I finally got hot water Sunday night once most people left. When I talked to staff about the issue, they said it was because the plumbing is old and hasn't been updated, and were not surprised. For what this place costs, this is unforgivable. When I complained to the front desk, I was told they were aware and "working" on it. Guess that lasted all weekend. No compensation or upgrade or anything was offered. Basically told to suck up the cold showers."
"We had a group of 8 rooms for 4 nights and spent about $7000. One room had a toilet that kept breaking. One room’s card access kept resetting (like four times) requiring new cards. And one room had dirty linens on the bed. There’s was no hot water reaching my floor this morning. WiFi was in and out and I was told that bc the room wasn’t in my name I could even access the regular WiFi (which is an additional charge). For over $200 a night at an aging property, none of these should be issues. Additionally, the parking situation and pricing that was described over the phone before I arrived was not the parking situation we found. It was less expensive than I was told it would be, which is great—but when your whole business is hospitality, get your people on the same page. Overall experience was more annoying than hospitable."
"This is an older property that has been lovingly well kept up, however it does show it's age. Bathrooms are small. What saved this property is the pool. Old but warm. We visit many Marriott properties and appreciated the pool so much as most are just too cold to go into...even for an 8 year old. This was perfect. Made all the difference in our 1 night stay. Thank you!"
"The hotel placed surprise, shady, unauthorized charges on my card. I strongly recommend avoiding the hotel. I walked in to book the hotel in person - and they quoted me an unusually high price. I was able to find a much better price online - and I booked that way. The hotel then told me that they would "place a hold for $50 on my card for incidentals" A week after I left, they charged my card for close to $200, exactly the difference in price between the discounted online room cost, and what they quoted me in person. I strongly recommend against staying here."
