"Easily accessible overview with 2 quarter operated telescopes of Blackwater Falls State Park Valley. You can hear and barely see a large waterfall across the valley under the lodge but my cell phone camera was not able to get a good picture."
"Nice overlook. Easy to get reach. Drive to parking lot and walk across fairly level, grassy area about 50 yards from lot. They have a few of those quarter operated binoculars/stands to use."
"This is a nice little spot within Blackwater Falls that has a great view of the valley below which contains the Blackwater River. Be cautious with children as venturing away from the overlook, trails will lead to unprotected rock cliffs that an adult could fall off of, much less a child!"
