"Been a member for over 20 years & have always experienced very slow processing times, even with simple internal transfers or withdrawals, these things shouldn't take 4+ weeks to process, but they always have an excuse though! That doesn't make it okay, especially if there's a deadline- like for federal taxation- important things like that. Do not leave a voice message- either you won't be called back or it will take days. For an agency licensed in so many states- they need more employee's to process the many requests."

The Officers who deal with NSS are quite pleased. Normally, there isn't a reason for most customers to come to the office, but there is a heritage museum on the premises that's pretty cool to visit. "I have never been treated so rudely by a company in my entire life. I purchased an annuity to supplement my Social Security. I was to start receiving payments in July. The wrong amount was deposited in my account. I was told that the problem was fixed but come August the same problem occurred. When I went to the office the receptionist told me she was going to call the police on me. She also told me that the agent who sold me the annuity was not truthful and lied.#1 why would a receptionist treat a customer this way? #2 why would she say such an awful thing about one the agents that sell their products? I would love to move my money out of there but unfortunately I'm stuck. Lot's of penalties involved. So please what ever you do, do not buy products from these nasty people. You will not be treated right."
