Giant Eagle Pharmacy

"Most inconsiderate staff and managers. On multiple occasions, I have had medications sent here that I don’t get notification that they are filled and then when I call in the staff gives me attitude. I recently changed my pharmacy to Amazon but for some reason when my prescriber sent it to Amazon, it ended up here and then giant eagle refused to send it to Amazon at my request. I went a week without my meds for anxiety and currently find myself in the ER with chest tightness,"

"The workers here are amazing. A family Member of mine had an issue with a price of prescription and they went above and beyond to figure out the correct price and to help him out. They are all very kind and helpful."

"this is the worst pharmacy i have ever had to use. they are almost always rude to the customers, never answer the phone, and never have prescriptions ready. there’s an older blonde woman there that will speak over you when you try to tell her your birthday or the spelling of your last name. this place is a nightmare to have to deal with. i’d rather travel elsewhere. don’t come here."

"Depends on the day with this place. Sometimes they are efficient with out any problems. Other times, I don't what is going on back there. I've gone in there and my script was not filled and the clerk looked it up and told me he doesn't know what happened. There's a script I have that fills 3 at a time and after the first time, I asked for them to fill it for one month. After this happened a few times, one young man told me he would make the notes to fill it one at a time from here on out. Next refill, happened again. I have only had one rude clerk experience there. I have had other situations where my script has been wrong by not filled, not filled correctly or insurance not billed. But, they attempt to be as accommodating as possible. Fortunately, for all of their customers, the rude young man is no longer there. For the most part, everyone is pretty friendly and try to be helpful. I just think they need to be taught that this is a job and are working with people who are not well and need some compassion and patience. They also need to be more knowledgeable of the position they are performing. I realize that many are pharmacy students, but, this is teaching you the customer service aspect and patient care."
