"I recently gave this practice a try after becoming dissatisfied with the sales tactics of my previous dentist. Front desk and dental assistants right off the bat were a breath of fresh air. Everyone was inviting and relaxed although clearly busy and focused. The dental assistant that worked on me during my second visit was AMAZING! She made a simple observation and within five minutes adjusted my bite and I hadn’t even realized I was uncomfortable all this time until she fixed it. I wasn’t even there for that purpose but she made a world of difference. My daughter LOVED both the dental assistant and dentist she saw during her visit and that’s the tough sell believe me. So far so good!"

Dr. Max is just charming and immediately puts one at ease; and if you are a dentalphobe like myself, this is so important! Plus, he does a good job! Everyone is gentle and puts forth an effort to be gentle ( thus the name: Gentle Dental). I would be happy to recommend this practice to anyone."
"I had a very awful experience with this office. When it was time for me to pay for my cleaning I was told it was 500+. Luckily, I had the person that worked the day before to run it and I was told it was 114. After, requesting it was run multiple times it finally came up the price I had originally been told. At the end I got the basic, “I’m sorry” from the reception MANAGER. As if that was normal. Can you imagine if I had just paid the 500+ not even knowing the price. Flash forward to yesterday, I get a bill of 200+. Extremely confused I call the dentist. As soon as I started asking questions (should mention I am a very direct person and my voice is mellow tone: I should mention that I was told I was screaming/being rude. But I am a firm believer that if you try to over talk me I will get louder with you because I had not even finished my question and I was being told right away “It is not us, we don’t do this and that instead of listening to the whole question) which I personally think is allowed since this is money coming out my pocket. The first person I talked to just gave me “ we don’t send those out, just disregard it. You don’t owe that. We submitted the claim yesterday to your insurance”. The statement I had received stated 10/15/2023, it was sent it out (I understand mail takes awhile so I’m not upset about that). I called back the office because I wanted to cancel my appointment (TALKED TO THE MANAGER AT THIS POINT) I was very calm and said “I just want to cancel my appointment” then got asked the reasoning why and I explained where the money isn’t making any sense. Where she then, talked over me explaining to say what the other receptionist said (seemed to be very passive aggressive about this). Then proceeded to tell me I’m so nasty and I’m raising my voice, she doesn’t deserve to be treated like this. Again, she talked over me and I’m a firm believer I will get louder if you do that. (Don’t do what you can’t get back). A lot more convo (if anyone wants to know more I will gladly let you know) but in the end She said she will HAPPILY cancel all my appointments. I’m just confused how this turned into my fault when they are (Gental Dental) sent me a bill or told me a price that ends up being off by a few hundreds of dollars. And when asked it brushed off, with the “insurance handles that” and not a “I’m sorry; yes we should have expressed that’s how it works here or we see that there are problems here and we are sorry. Just the insurance isn’t accepting claims easily” instead I was said to be in the wrong because I was asking about their billing process and that it was not make sense. If you go here, just make sure you know how much it is going to be THROUGH your insurance and not trust them. Manger name is Yeppa."
"I absolutely LOVE Gentle Dental!!! Everyone here is so pleasant and accommodating! The reception staff are extremely helpful and if I ever have an emergency they fit me right in to see Dr. Lewis. Dr. Lewis gives me his recommendations and explains everything to me in a way that alleviate my fears. Sunny is the absolute best hygienist in the world! I have extremely sensitive gums and she is the only one who has ever suggested numbing gel to give me a great cleaning experience!!! This has helped us both out tremendously. She is my hygienist for as long as she is at Gentle Dental!!!! And she gives me a thorough, excellent cleaning. Thank you Gentle Dental for taking wonderful care of my oral health."
