"Let me start off by saying, I am someone who does NOT automatically put a lot of faith into providers. It’s hard for me to trust someone to preform medical procedures just because they are a medical professional- I proceed with a LOT of hyper-vigilance. With that said, I really trust this office and will come here any time they offer a procedure I need. And they are out of network for me, meaning I have to pay up front and wait for the reimbursement, but the trust I have for this office, I would come here even if I didn’t get reimbursed at all. I was referred to Dr. Sydney’s office through my orthodontist office (OSIV). I needed to get an upper and lower frenectomy to preserve my Invisalign work and a gum graft under my bottom front teeth. Dr. Sydney did an amazing job! He was honest (which I appreciate) and told me sometimes grafts might not always take or even last, said even if my gum stays lower, he also aims to make the gum thicker so at least there’s an increase of blood…. but his work completely took, and I mean my gum line looks significantly better (it actually looks completely normal with no receding) and is going strong 2 years later! I went to a new dentists office a little time after this and the hygienist actually called over other workers into the room to tell them to look at the graft… and that it was done 2 years ago. She told me they do them in their company and she’s never seen one hold up like that. That was my first sign to probably not go to that dentist office (American Dental Solutions). Sooo I went there for a couple appointments, got two fillings, then they recommended a tooth scalling. Long story short I don’t think they even did any scalling? I was never given novocaine for whatever they did, my gums still bled and were inflamed from bushing and they gave me antibiotic cream which I was charged for- for my whole mouth including teeth they hadn’t said they scaled. I came back for a second Apt and they told me they would have to redo what they did the previous time but there would be more charge for more antibiotic… something wasn’t sitting right with me so I went back to Dr. Sydeny’s office!!!! I had a great intake Apt where they thoroughly measured the gapping in my gums and eventually I had my first scalling Apt and Marry did my scalling. She was amazing!!!!!!! This was a completely different experience than American Dental. First, she talked to me about my home care- which I needed. She did it in a way with no judgment bc the truth is I’m 30 years old and have not been angling my tooth brush right my entire life. She gave me so much of her time and really educated me- she did not HAVE to do this, but in doing so, I really felt like I was actually being CARED for because what she did for me will actually help fix my issue (not just an office performing a procedure and getting paid). She gave me Novocain and the procedure was way more intense and involved than at American dental. There was pressure and scrapping- it did not hurt at all but I needed this for my gums to be able to get better. It’s been a week but my gums on the side we had the procedure? They have 100% stopped being inflamed. They no longer are bleeding every time I brush my teeth. It’s a miracle. I also want to add the woman at the front desk is always very nice as well. And even though Mary who was a hygienist did my procedure, Dr. Lyons called me later that night to check on me. I highly recommend this periodontist office!!!!"

"I recently had laser gum surgery performed by Dr. Lyons. I was petrified, so much so that I put off the procedure for almost a year. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lyons and his entire staff. They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and were so receptive to my fear and anxiety of being in the chair. Now that the procedure is behind me I look back and ask myself what was I scared of. The procedure was not painful and the recovery time was pretty easy and pain free. If you are putting off any kind of work in your mouth because you are anxious like I was please don't! Your smile is worth it and Dr. Lyons and his staff are simply amazing!"

"Had to go in for some heavy duty work. Mary made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Root planing was a breeze surprisingly. Also had Dr. Lyons pull 3 teeth at the same visit. 4 days later and still no pain whatsoever! Thank you so much! My teeth are finally starting to look a lot better.
