"I never leave reviews but this company/ branch are an absolute joke of a business. Stay far away from this company as well as the Bowie branch specifically. Numerous calls have been placed with absolutely 0 help towards the problem. Two calls placed with over 2 hours of wait time. Of those two calls, three times someone has picked up and simply stated "How may I help? Let me place you on a brief hold".....back to waiting. JOKE"
"The on line banking is a joke . Why they can't get it right at this time and age . I never get a copy of my transactions . And does not show all my transactions on the online apt ."
"DO NOT TAKE AN AUTO LOAN OUT WITH THIS BANK! I purchased my car from a small mom & pop dealership who financed through Damascus Community Bank. The people at Damascus were helpful and organized but eventually the bank was bought out by Old Line and EVERYTHING went downhill from there. The company is incredibly disorganized, the online system is a joke and it seems like these people couldn't manage their way out of a paper bag. I decided to pay off my auto loan early but realized the online system didn't give me a balance due, instead, it just had the total I am required to pay each month and a short history of payments. I got in touch with Old Line who advised me that the balance on my loan was over $1600 MORE than what I initially thought, however, the minimum payment never changed and the loan was still set to expire in April. The loan officer I spoke with said "hm that doesn't make any sense....I'll have to do some research" lo and behold they had been taking "insurance" out on my loan for over 2 years because they said I didn't hold insurance....The letter they sent about the insurance initially went to an old address that I had not lived at for 3 years (I updated the address with them multiple times but apparently nothing "stuck") a year later they sent another letter and it DID end up at my residence but I submitted my proof of insurance immediately. Well, according to the loan officer I was uninsured the last 2 years and that's why my loan increased by over $1600...I got my insurance agent to submit the proper paperwork (only to find out that they never refunded me from the first time I submitted the proof of insurance). I finally paid the balance and thought I was done with these inept people but alas I need them to send me the lien release so I can get my clear title. Well, I emailed them asking when they were set to send me this and I got a response back from someone telling me that they don't have my address and that they got returned mail from me....SO I forwarded the entire string of emails SHOWING the multiple times that I've updated my residence with them in the past. LONG STORY SHORT, these people don't have a clue. They are disorganized and people don't seem to communicate over there."
