"Took my son to Dr Taras previously for routine dental exams a few times. Just visited the office on 10/25/23 for a routine exam. I was told my son needs a filling in one tooth and he referred him to Philadelphia. I questioned why and the doctor told me because my son can't hold his mouth open. His previous dentist had no issues and used a block if needed. Dr Taras didn't want to be bothered. Fast forward one month and I get an insurance denial in the mail stating "the provider contract is not effective on this date of service". I was told because my son has medicaid he cannot bill him for this service. I think that's why he referred him to phila. I think someone in the office either didn't follow thru with his credentialing or didn't check for insurance when the appt was made. I made an appt with a new dentist."

"Extremely rude and very unprofessional to his patients and their family members. Not sure if he thinks he’s just too good for certain ppl or what. But as a medical professional, doctor Taras should have way better manners than what he does. Will be making a switch very soon."

"I’ve never had a problem with the dentist, it was more so the young lady at the front desk who recently started . I’ve been coming here since I was about 9 years old even had my child start coming here , long story short I had an appointment’ but I did not want to see the same hygienist I have been because she was just a little rough for me it was time for a change so checking into my app on I asked this lady repeatedly “ who is the hygienist who will be cleaning my teeth today “. She then proceeds to click clack on the computer and tells me she doesn’t know who I seen last time . For one you should have a record on each appointment on who did what to who , correct ? Correct . I can come off very strong but at the end of the day it’s my teeth and I didn’t want a certain person in my mouth . I must of have struck a nerve with the young lady cus I received a letter in the mail that he was discharging me as a patient .. which is fine there are more dentist lol but the point is . This little weak minded b tic h thought she was doing something. 100% was on FaceTime from my walk in To my walk out and the whole thing was recorded . I will be sure to get in contact with this place as soon as possible ."

"I use to go to Dr. Taras as a child but as I got older I bounced around to different dentist. I have an intense fear of the dentist so going was always a problem. Most dentist I have previously experienced make the entire process painful and cause high anxiety. Today dr. Taras filled some cavities for me. He took the most amount of time any dentist has ever taken to garuantee the novacaine was working and wouldn't cause any pain. He let me know if I needed a break I could have one and truly made the entire experience manageable. I now know without a doubt I will be able to go to all of my 6mnth checkups without an issues. As he and his entire team work to make the patients feel comfortable."
