"Efficient, neat, and clean. Can have your script delivered. And the pharmacists and techs are great."
"This establishment is absolute trash. Ridiculous. Horrendous. Let me just detail you this… an adult goes in to get surgery who is told they must leave all belongings with the person who brought you (wallet, phone, etc). Once they release you from getting your tonsils cut and burnt out, you must go to the pharmacy for your pain Rx. You have no voice, no ID, and no money so they won’t give you the pain pills. They also won’t transfer pain pills to a different pharmacy after being prescribed. So how is one supposed to get pain pills post op? You don’t because they won’t allow the person who brought you to get pain pills for you either even a parent because you’re over 18. Please. Please tell me how this works? As an adult getting tonsils out, I thought o was going to die. Still couldn’t talk until I was out of pain. Thanks for nothing WVU."
"The pharmacy staff is alright. But I've been trying to be patient with the fact that they have a new computer system. You STILL cannot reach them by phone though and have to now physically go in the hospital- which can put yourself and others in danger of getting sick!!!!"
"Terrible service. Only going there because my daughter has to get a compound medication. Every time I go there it is never ready. Last time I called to have medication filled and ready for pickup by 12pm was not ready at 2pm still. When back couple days later to get medication and they never refrigerated it so I had to wait for them to remake it again. Going back to Pier point landing to get it filled. Longer drive but we never had a problem with them."
"Terrible. Only went there because there are several compounded medications that I need but after finding out there are other pharmacies in the area which do compounds (Pierport Landing, American Rx) I stopped using them because their customer service and overall operation are terrible. 1. They do not fill medications because of insurance issues with processing & then never bother to call you to tell you about the issue and/or never re-run the prescription after the issue has been resolved. Thus, I showed up to pick up a medication 3 days later (after the original refill request was submitted & issue resolved) and it was not ready b/c no one ever followed up and re-ran it the following day. It just sat there because the person who originally had tried to process it was not working for the next 3 days. This issue has happened multiple times. 2. The people who answer the phone don't know what they are doing. Most recent experience, I called to confirm that a prescription request was ready for pickup. Person answering the phone couldn't find it; she got help from another person (tech). She couldn't find it. It took over 6 minutes before they finally "found" the prescription refill request in the system because there are apparently 2 systems/screens that need to be checked, yet these 2 never thought to check the 2nd screen. 3. Hours (7:30A-6P weekday, 10A-2P Sat) - If you work a standard 8AM-5PM work day, they are only open for 1.5 hours each day outside of those hours + 4 hours on Saturday. Except for home Football games in which case they close on Saturdays. So you're stuck going there during the week before 6PM. 4. There are only 4 short term parking spots available. If you go during a busy time and those spots are all filled, then you're stuck trying to find a spot in the same general visitor hospital lot and trekking 2-4 mins back & forth. If you go during an off-peak time, parking is not an issue. 5. Often quite crowded and usually only 1 or at most 2 people working at the registers to check people out. In short, I wish I had found out about Pierpont Landing a long time ago and thus, stopped wasting my time at this terrible, inconvenient pharmacy. Goodbye Med Center Pharmacy. Update 10/31/17: My wife went in there to pick up a prescription (unfortunately only 1 other place in town makes it and is 50% more expensive) a few weeks ago. Earlier that morning she called and confirmed over the phone that it was ready for pickup. She had to wait for 5 mins in line and then once she got to a register, the person told her there was no prescription for her. This went on for 7 minutes before they finally realized what they are doing and found the prescription. So, to review, again they have no clue what they are doing and it takes 12 minutes to pickup a prescription which is unacceptable."
