"As an APL retiree, I recently applied for an auto loan to buy a leased Toyota that I wanted to keep. I had never done a lease buy out before so I did not understand all of the things that were needed to complete a successful lease buy out. Lori Jorif was the Member Service Representative who helped me through the process. Lori was absolutely awesome! From the beginning of filling out the loan documents, obtaining loan approval, and ultimately cutting the check, Lori was constantly working to ensure that everything was done properly and that all required documnets were in place. Lori was extremley patient, professional, and simply a pleasure to work with. The APL Credit Union is lucky to have someone as knowledgable, helpful, and professional as Lori. "We applied for membership and an auto loan on Monday because we saw APL had good reviews and the 5.99% rate was lower than any from banks or car dealerships. The application process was very easy; I was able to upload supporting documents. On Tuesday we found the car we wanted to buy at Hertz, but their policy is that they don't hold cars. The market for this car--Toyota Sienna--is really insane right now. They're bought before they hit lots. Two different dealers tried to buy the car from Hertz between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon! So on Tuesday afternoon I called APL begging for someone to update us on the status of our membership and loan to see how quickly we could buy the car. Judy called me back and explained that the 2 different employees who were working on our membership and loan had left for the day, but she was going to stay and try her best to get us a check before APL stopped cutting checks in about 80 minutes. We were frantically talking on the phone, sending documents back and forth, having Hertz revise an error in the Buyer's Order...and she got it done. She had to stay past her duty day while there was a major storm going on and she kept telling ME to be careful driving to get the check. SO unbelievably kind. I picked up the check at the APL drive-thru and sent a photo of it to convince Hertz to hold the car. Seriously Judy is a hero!!!! No way would anyone at a corporate bank stay late in a storm to get this done for strangers. We are so happy with our decision to use APL. Thank you APL and thank you Judy!"

"This was my first time getting an auto loan for a car I was buying and not going to lease. Craig Dickerson was the agent that helped me. He was nice and knowledgeable. He helped me get an auto draft loan as I was still trying to figure out what vehicle I was buying. He explained the differences in auto loans and was always able to answer my questions quickly. We went over the different add ons like gap and so forth and helped me pick the best plan. I was able to sign all the documents electronically while at work so I didn't have to leave my job. The process was easy and understandable the whole way which I appreciated as a new buyer."
