"Dr's and staff were great in the care I received while there. I was given an X-ray and CBCT scan. I told them I was looking for an All on 4 type of procedure and they gave me a quote. I also went to a surgeon they recommended to see about extractions and implant placement. HFD quoted me $8000 for 4 lower implants only with a cheap acrylic prosthetic and a full upper denture. The surgeon quoted me $14,000 for their services. So $22,000 for the cheapest implants and prosthetics possible. Fast forward a few months and upon doing a ton of research, I find out that I can get BETTER and cheaper care going abroad to Cancun Mexico, which is exactly what I did. Upon returning I went to HFD for a check up and to see how my healing process is doing. They said everything looked great and the surgery was done well. It wasn't until afterwards that I told them I had gone abroad, and the attitude changed. Several days later I received a letter stating that I should look elsewhere for a dentist and that they can no longer provide me with care. I previously explained that I still wanted to use them for my dental care, but evidently that is no longer an option. So seeing another dentist of any kind is wrong? ALL of their patients have been life long patients since birth and never saw another dentist or surgeon for any procedures? I think not. I am getting 12 Strauman implants, 6 bone grafts, 25 extractions, alveoloplasty, sedation, top of the line zirconia prosthetics and hotel accommodations. My cost for going to Mexico will be $24,000. In the US that would most likely cost $75-$100k. It's a shame that HFD only cares about making money off their patients for doing sub par work. At no point was I ever told what quality my prosthetics or implants would be until after the fact when I had educated myself a bit more. They never even offered any choices. Seems like they were just looking to do the work without educating the patient and making money, like most dentists in the US. I never asked them to be responsible for any work I have done abroad. I did however want to use them for all of my other care after the fact. I'm sure there's plenty of other dentists around who would like to have another paying client."
