Back Mountain Dental

"I called this practice and asked if I would be able to make a consultation appointment to review my most recent X-rays from my current dentist as I was seeking a second opinion on an issue. The receptionist said they would request my X-rays from my current dentist, so I booked an appointment two weeks out. The day before my scheduled appointment, I still hadn’t received a call from my current dentist to request consent to send my X-rays, so I called Back Mountain Dental to verify that they requested them, and was told they had not. The receptionist said they would be performing a NEW X-ray of the tooth in question. I asked why that was necessary when I had a full mouth X-ray two weeks ago. She insisted that it was necessary and then started talking about implants (which I don’t need) and called me by the wrong name. That’s when I asked if she was speaking with the correct person and she said,”oh, I was in the middle of something else when you called, what’s your name?” I asked if I could reschedule once they requested my X-rays and she insisted that wasn’t necessary and they would request them that day. I cancelled the appointment the next day and never received a call back to reschedule and it’s now a week later and I never received a call from my current dentist about sending my X-rays. Based on this initial experience, I have no intention of becoming a patient at this practice."

"Been a patient for about 6 years and always treated as a valued patient. Checked in and was taken to the treatment room within 5 minutes. Arianna, the dental assistant, was very friendly and we spoke about various this, then she asked if i had any problems or concerns before starting any work. She explained what work she would be doing and started it. After she was finished Dr. DeFinnis came in, greeted me, examined me and said all looked good. He thanked me for me patronage and left. Arianna scheduled my next appointment and walked me to the door, thanking me for my business. Anybody can clean my teeth, but only people who care about their patients let you know how appreciated your business and your dental health is."
