"I heard about this place from a friend who's Japanese boss eats here. Taking that at a pseudo recommendation I took a chance and went there. First look made me smile as they actually have a ramen bar when you walk in. We were seated (went with my friend) and while he ordered ramen, I opted for something different - gyudon (beef on rice). VERY TASTY BTW! Before that was appetizers: gyoza and some spicy wontons (not exactly Japanese but it's 2024, folks). Also since there's a boba tea place attached, I had a Thai Tea which was tasty and just enough Bottom line: if you're in the area and looking for tasty food with a mostly Japanese flavor, stop by!"

"Was looking for a ramen spot and saw that this restaurant was close to 5 stars. Impressive. It’s nice it’s connected to a bubble tea spot if you want to drink anything, it’s convenient. The place is nice, clean, bright and spacious. Service was ok. The hostess could be more friendly and welcoming. There wasn’t a lot of people so go seated right away. We all got different ramens and they were all disappointing. It just didn’t taste that great compared to the same dishes I had in other restaurants. It tasted off. The other non ramen dishes looks really good from the pictures, maybe we should’ve ordered those dishes instead. Not sure will we be coming back."

"As soon as we entered the restaurant the hostess did not really greet us nicely. Same attitude went from the moment we sat down till we left. We stayed a bit an hour or so. Nobody was dining except us and one table. There was nobody there so it is not busy at all. The atmosphere inside Soho Ramen what I love about is that very clean, very bright, and today during our early dinner they must be playing greatest hits of Mariah Carey. I definitely enjoyed that music. Now let’s talk about the food that’s why we came here. Curious on how their ramen would taste. I usually go for Tonkatsu Ramen - this one has a different flavor profile of pork broth. I did not love it. When I got my ramen, I did want to love it because I am a ramen junkie. I did not like the pork broth taste at all so I did not enjoy it. The pork is tender but not the one I wanted on how to look like. I had 100x better tasting than this pork. When it was not dunked in the broth, it looked more like into the dry side. It also smelled differently compared to the other ramen that I had eaten from the past. Good thing that I ordered their takoyaki, the takoyaki is good however the octopus is too rubbery chewy so I did not eat it, I just ate the takoyaki without the octopus pieces. At least the sauce and kewpie mayo is on top. The soy garlic chicken wings were just okay. I really wish the inside part of the chicken would he flavorful but it’s not. The only thing I like is that the outer skin part of the wings are very crispy. Also ordered their Chicken Cutlet serves rice with Japanese Curry (ordered it on the side). Wished the chicken cutlet were pounded thinner and cut into thiner strips rather than larger cuts. 4 Entree and 2 apps =$74.24 we even gave $25 tip even though our server also host I have party of 4. My aunt ordered Pad Thai she said she liked it. It is a little spicy but she could handle it. My Uncle got their Stirfry Shrimp Udon noodles. He loved it so much. Maybe when I go back to the 7cup bubble tea next door, maybe i will give a try their steamed Cha-sun bun."

"I ordered the curry chicken. What I got was cheap breaded chicken that resembles the same cheap breaded chicken at wawa over rice. Some scallions, but it came with a water broth on the side that was absolutely flavorless and not a curry sauce. This is, without a doubt, the poorest excuse for curry chicken I've ever seen. Because it was so absolutely bad, I wouldn't even consider giving this place a second chance. I'd rather go to any of the other restaurants down the street that know what flavor is and not rip people off."
