"I went to them once and they filled my prescription right before I went on vacation with a generic version of my medication, which was fine, I wasn't too concerned. I saw my doctor on Monday, but MedFast was already closed when they tried to call in my prescription to the pharmacist, so they sent it to him on Tuesday morning. By Tuesday afternoon my wife tried to pick it up for me, but she called beforehand just to check because there's always some issue. They said that they never received my prescription, I wasn't in their system even though I picked up a prescription from them a month ago, and they didn't have my medication anyway. I called my doctor's office and they said that they talked to the pharmacist and they faxed them my prescription, but they would call again to see what the issue is. I called MedFast and they said that my medication would be there on Friday afternoon. I waited, went there at 2:05PM today (Friday the 5th of May, just like they said), and they told me that they wouldn't fill my prescription due to a notice from their owner from the day before, unless I wanted to take a lesser desired drug, or unless I had Hepatitis C. My doctor prescribed me a particular type of medication and your owner has no right to say what the patient can and can't take. I am highly upset, but what can I do? I am at the pharmacy's mercy. I have three bulging and herniated discs in my back and degenerative disc disease, and I survived cancer, but who am I, right? I feel like I am due a complete explanation."
