"I had a room for New Year’s Eve because I was performing at Maryland live. After a long night of working I couldn’t wait to get to my room . It’s freezing outside and the front door was locked and wouldn’t open at all. Tried my room key, tried calling front desk, tried knocking really hard and I could see there was no front desk agent at all. I had to freeze and walk all the way to the side of the building just to get in. Ridiculous. Couldn’t even buy any snacks from front desk because there was no one there for a long time. If you’re going to lock the front door of hotel , LEAVE A NOTE AND LET US KNOW ON THE DOOR."

"Whenever I travel, I like to stay somewhere that I can cook my own meals. I have food allergies and Homewood Suites has a mini kitchen. Perfect for buying groceries and preparing my meals. I had a late check in and early checkout. One of the light bulbs in my room wasn't working and it's hard to find the switch for the light on the night stand. I think the person before me gave up because they ended up unscrewing the light bulb. Clean, updated rooms, I would stay here again."

"Was very disappointed, would not be coming back again. The first room smelled like smoke. The second room they gave us the toilet did not work. Also the TV remote needed replacement. The room was very small. It was supposed to be a suite, was not worth the money. Responding to this review...I hope it will not be your standard one! I only gave 1 star because there was not a lower one! Was not easy to get to from Rt. 95."

"Choosing Hilton for business, traveling with family or in an emergency. Hilton meets all my needs from home. Hospitality has declined and been lacking at the Hilton brand, but this location has not forgotten we are guests and must feel welcomed. I have a disability and the front desk staff assisted me. That's was remarkable and allowed me to overcome the challenges I have when traveling. Well done Columbia Homewood Suites"

"Forgive me for the length of this review, but WOW! 1 star rating is only because Google doesn't offer negative stars. So, this was single handedly the WORST service I have ever received at a Hilton property. The "you can't even see 2nd place from here" kinda thing. That is saying something, considering how often my family stays at Hilton properties (Hilton Diamond status because of how frequently we stay) and Homewood Suites is my go-to because I find its the best value for what my family needs. Upon check in, the shockingly poor attitude from the woman at the front desk (not what I am used to from a Hilton property) I can chalk up to a bad day, but it only devolved from there. The awful attitude was coupled with downgrading the room. Then lying about the room difference and absolutely zero remorse when called out about it stating "you just booked it, what do you expect." She couldn't operate the credit card machine or the printer properly. We went to the room regardless as it was inching past my son's bedtime. As we feared, the bedroom was too small to fit his travel crib. We decided to leave at that point. Her attitude somehow got worse. She continued to argue with my wife about the room when we said we were going to leave and needed a refund. In the course of arguing she managed to threaten my wife, stating she was "lucky" and gesturing to the desk between the two of them and calling my wife a "bad mother" for arguing in front of her child. We went 15 minutes down the road to an Embassy Suites and got a wonderful room and wonderful service."
