"Place is dope with a few hidden chill spots. Never a bad experience, stars at night are amazing here around 3am ish..2nd best star gazing round here I think. Nothing the city has ever seen ."
"This seems to be a hidden gem because the beach and lake were nearly empty on a very hot, sunny day. The beach and swimming area were huge and the bathroom was clean. The sand is perfect for digging and building. The water is comfortable and the bottom is mostly sandy but it's prone to bacteria and red algae so wear an old or black bathing suit to avoid stains."
"Very popular spot. It's a beautiful lake. The swimming area isn't to bad. Most people are friendly."
"Gouldsboro State Park is adjacent to Tobyhanna State Park. It is a more rustic park than Tobyhanna. It has no running water bathrooms and no camping. What I do like is the picnic table grove near the lake. If you get too much sun, you can sit under the nearby trees. Other features: boat rentals, fishing, trails, mountain biking and seasonal hunting. There's also a boat launch and a new handicap fishing pier (see pictures). For events at this park visit: events dcnr pa For more information: pa parks and forests (diamond)"
