Ramada by Wyndham Edgewood Hotel & Conference Center

"Frank was very rude at check in because his culture doesn’t respect women! His words were that I need to be put in my place! When asking about room options he started to yell saying I’m trying to immediate him because I was in my uniform. I’m pissed because my room was paid for in advance and it’s not refundable!"

"Worst hotel ever. The non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke and dirty. The front desk clerks are nice but they are controlled by the dictatorship of the manager. The manager is flipflopping and penny picking for everything. Be careful on the contract, they can and they will change your reservation contract on the fly and make last day to cancel date 3 weeks prior instead of 24 hours as on the original reservation said. They will charge your reservation on the last day that you allowed to cancel (instead of the next day). Once they charged your card, they won't give you a refund until the day that you are supposed to check-in. In another word, if you want to cancel on the last day of cancellation, you still have to wait until they check-in date to talk to a manager for a refund if you are lucky. What a joke! Not recommend this place to anyone."

"The room smelled like old stale smoke and my sister is very sensitive to that foul odor,. Unfortunately we booked two nights through Priceline so had to leave after one night and get another hotel ( comfort inn. All non smoking) and still pay for 2 nights at smelly hotel. We did ask to be moved and they insisted the room was a non-smoking, so we left."

"This Ramada is rough. Non-smoking room smelled smokey. There were holes in the walls. Door safety latch screws fell out when touched. Sink wouldn't drain. An entire drawer was missing from the dresser. No drinking cups in room. The staff was somewhat friendly but seemed incompetent. It took two of them 30 minutes to get us checked into a room, as if they didn't know what they're doing. It must be a high crime area, since the doors locked early and you have to stand in a little booth outside during check in. This rather large motel seemed only 20% occupied at most, and I can see why: Rough. On the plus side, they have a truck parking lot out back behind the pool. It was mostly empty too, but the check-in lady said police will tow big trucks from that lot if they don't have a pass in the window (which sounds like BS to me). Denny's and Waffle House are within short walking distance if you're parked in the truck lot."

"The staff was awesome. They were extremely accommodating and friendly. The pool was nice and clean. Unfortunately the motel is old and In poor shape with poor cleaning standards. Our room smelled bad, the tile floor was sticky, the AC made lots of noises which made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was continental/no protein. I would stay there again if everything else was booked but it was pretty rough."
