"Worst pool ever. Life gaurds kept complaining about everything we couldn't bring in our towels and sandals. No Google's that covered the nose. My daughters bathing suit was drying so we put on a sweat guard tank top same material as a bathing suit was checking the liners in the boys swim trunks. No one was in the pool or around the pool and I see why they had 6 life guards that were robbing the clock. First time and last. Never been treated so rudely at a public pool in my life. They don't even deserve 1 star. I can go on but this is enough so you know you'll be dealing with a headache"

"Been swimming and playing at Samuels since i was a child 12 yrs. Of age. Great place. I am now 44 and take my children there i live just 8 mins. Walk away. Pool opens today cant wait to get to swim. I would have given them 5 stars but i do think this boys swim then girl swim then swim team to many breaks when you have children aspiring to swim its not cool to have to sit around waiting i wish they atleast get rid of boy nd girl separate swim i like swimming with my boy cousins nd brothers so plz. Stop with the separation of boy nd girl swim. Ty"

"Despite the phila.gov website stating this pool opens on June 22nd, it did not. Went today only to see pool being filled and then feeling pissed that it's 85 degrees out and I had my bathing suit on all ready to go. Also no one answered the phone when I called to inquire about the pool. Luckily I only live 5 mintlutws away but still a bummer."
