"After moving to Pittsburgh a year ago, I decided it was time to stop driving back to Cleveland for Dentist appointments and find a local dentist close to my now home. I began working with Dr. Hart going through the new patient onboarding assessment which was extraordinarily detailed. Following the initial exams, we noticed I had an infection from past trauma requiring a root canal. Leading up to the procedure, I was anxious and second guessing my decision. Needless to say, it was all negative self talk in my head that never came to fruition. Dr. Hart and his staff were accommodating, efficient, and communicated every step of the way. As a result, you would never be able to tell I even had a root canal. It looks terrific and arguably better than before. That evening and days following, Dr. Hart followed up asking how I was feeling and even reminded me that I was going to need a new retainer. Thinking about the items I would not have thought of and making me feel like I have someone in my corner is invaluable especially when it comes to a specialty like dentistry. "The office requires me to make $50 deposit to hold my initial appointment. I need teeth clean. She told me that the service is usually not 100% covered. The deposit may not be able to refund back to me completely. I told them that I used this insurance for many years never need to pay a penny except for copay for my annual dental hygiene. Then she said I might get to somewhere else. I am glad I asked before head, or I will pay something I should not pay for. Be careful. Make clear what need to pay before you get the service there. It is not easy, the office won’t let you know unless you ask very specifically."
