"They are a very busy office, but went out of their way to notify me of any earlier appointments that opened up."
"This is the place where all my dental anxiety/phobia comes from. Pediatric dentist was terribly rude. She would consistently say at every visit how “terrible” my teeth were. Mind you I was 7-8 years old at the time. People at the desk were also not personable at all. Interior of the office was very dirty. Stains all over the rug. Dentist would gossip about other patients. Once I got older I saw an older man dentist and he barely looked in my mouth and said I was alright to leave??? Do not recommend at all!!!"
"Do not take ur dog here. The worst care in my 60 years. I got my bottom teeth out. N having terrible pain. Swelling.i been calling Bridgeville office n emergency line n customer service. In 5 days no one will call me back. I had 2 go 2 med 1st. N they said I need 2 b seen by a dentist. Even wit leaving that message 2 kat. They still haven't called me back"
"In short, me and my 10 year old Muslim son dressed in Muslim attire came in for his emergency appt to have a baby tooth pulled that chipped. He was in pain. Anjuli Tennimeyer immediately did not appear interested in treating my son. She looked in his mouth for a few seconds, asked him if he flosses etc, and then turned her attention to me and began speaking to me very condenscendingly. Feeling her very clear passive aggression, I did not take the bait. I Just said "Your suggestions are noted" But she persisted in addressing me, and i just reiterated politely that I was noting her suggestions.. My son sat in her chair happy to see the dentist calmly and respectfully the whole time. However, after failing to provoke me with the "Youre not taking care of your sons teeth good enough" charade, and acting out her obvious institutionalized racism. She chose not to pull his tooth and referred him to Childrens (whose doctors have a bad reputation of excessively and unnecessarily putting families in contact with CYF, this confirms the institutionalized part) even though she could complete the procedure in the office. I made it clear that I would like my son to be seen there at Katsur Dental, but she chose not to treat my Black Muslim son despite his pain and infection. I repeatedly asked the front desk why my son could not be seen there, and they never gave me a answer. They answered everything else except that question, despite me asking multiple times. I made it clear to them, that not supplying an answer coupled with her micro aggressive demeanor, leaves us with the conclusion that this was racial/religious bias. I called my insurance and filed a complaint.I also called Katsur Dental customer service. Katsur customer service agent "Lois" stated that she spoke to the Anjuli who told her that they tried treat my son, but they could not get him to sit down. A MADE UP BOLD FACED LIE. My son was sat in his seat by the assistant before the dentist came in. He stayed in his seat the whole time and the topic of him remaining seated and/or staying still, or sitting back NEVER even came up. So question, why did she have to make up a lie if the reason she refused to treat him was medical? The medical reason would be sufficient. We have a hearing coming up about this. *I scheduled him an appointment at different Dentists office (Not Children's). They cleaned his teeth and pulled that baby tooth all in 20 minutes. No problem. Its important for everyone who experiences institutionalized racism/and or religious bias to always report it. Post reviews and do everything you can to help it be stopped. They get away with it because people dont report it, or get gaslighted into looking as if they are just the typical crazy and argumentative ____________________family. insert race here"
"This place is so unorganized. There is no communication on what's going on. They don't communicate with each other. They had no idea my kids were siblings, after checking in They were still looking my other daughter. Asked me what work was being done..im not the dentist. You figure it out. After checking in, they said nothing and let me just stand there..this place needs to do better. The wrong time was given. I have nothing good to say. I can't wait to find a new dentist."
