"I can't speak to the quality of the periodontal care they offer, but I can speak to the billing process. BEFORE making an appointment, be well advised that you will be paying for services up front even if you have insurance. They will, as they put it, "bill insurance later" for whatever that means. So just assume that this is going to be an out of pocket expense and you'll have to fund it completely. If the insurance actually is built, and if they do pay, who is to say how that payment will be remitted? Does it go back to the patient? It should. Anyway, this was a surprise to us and to another patient. Billing practices are critical, things are very expensive, especially periodontal and implant work, and businesses that do this for a living are going to have to figure out that patients aren't made of money! No sour grapes, just facts. This also speaks to the importance of taking care of your teeth throughout your entire life. Don't drink soda exclamation Stop with all the sugar, garbage! Eat healthful food, brush and floss with healthful dental products, things that don't have fluoride in them and that don't overly abrade the teeth. This comes from the School of hard knocks and good medical experience."
