"So I had to cancel an appointment within 24 hours, unfortunately due to hyperemesis gravidarum. Unfortunately, when I went to reschedule, they said they had apparently released me as a patient, but would talk to the doctor, considering it was extenuating circumstances and call me back. A week later I still haven’t heard anything so I called again and received the same response. My daughter had an appointment with them, so obviously, I inquired about it while I was there, and they proceeded to tell me there is nothing they could do because I had too many missed appointments, even though there was no missed unfortunately a couple cancellation appointments within 24 hours due to my issues with the pregnancy, which I PAID the fee for. Now I am seven months pregnant with have no dentist and a severe cavity that’s causing pain. Not to mention high risk for preeclampsia so my obstetrician advised I need to get into the dentist as soon as possible… needless to say, they have been very unprofessional and have absolutely no empathy whatsoever. I have never met a Doctor Who would treat a pregnant woman this way, let alone refuse to help them. You better believe that none of us will ever go back there and I guarantee I am not the only one who’s experienced this. When Dr. Skoff was running the practice, he was absolutely amazing and things ran beautifully there, but since he passed and Dr Davis took over the whole place has gone down the drain. DEFINITELY avoid them unless you like to be treated poorly. Edit to add response to owner: I have seen my records in entirety and can say without a doubt that ANY and all cancellations were due to “Covid restrictions” and my pregnancy that too a lot out of me. You did NOT offer any opportunities to speak to Dr Davis, even when I was there with my daughter, she refused to come to the front to speak with me. I had ASKED to speak to her and was denied. I had ASKED to have help in proceeding forward with my care and again, was refused and ignored. To say that you tried to help is the most unprofessional response in order to try and save face. Clearly according to other reviews, I’m not the only one who has said that the office has completely failed at professionalism since the passing of Dr Skoff. It’s just sad that you have to ignore the facts of what has truly transpired. “Good luck to you” is a desperate attempt to save the practice that is being run into the ground, so good luck to you!"
"I was a patient here when Dr. Skoff was the dentist. He was a very nice man, but his staff frequently made billing and coding errors. For my last two covered hygiene visits, my insurance company paid the claims, but the doctor’s office claimed they did not get paid and sent my account to collections. When I tried to follow up much later about this under the new dentist who took over after Skoff died (after my insurance company verified over the phone but not in writing that the former doc office cashed the checks), Dr. Davis scolded me for not handling the matter sooner. She said she could not prove their office had been paid for my two hygiene visits in question from 2018 and 2020 since the former dentist now has a closed bank account. I told her it was standard policy for ANY dental PPO to cover hygiene visits every year—at which time she told me I must not have had active insurance. I have never had an insurance lapse since I have been on Medicare for a disability since 2016 and have always had a Medicare Advantage PPO. I asked her to please forgive this debt (which is clearly an error from the former dentist) and she said no. I told her this has affected my credit and I don’t enjoy getting a weekly call from a collection agency. She refused to call them off since she would have to pay them a small fee to do so. And yet she wants me to shell out $250 that my previous insurance company already paid to the previous dentist whose practice she took over? I asked her how it was possible that the dentist would have even let me get a hygiene visit on those two dates in question without verifying my insurance (since I also work in a dentist’s office and NO ONE gets an appointment without their insurance being verified first), and she said that it was not the policy of the former office to verify insurance prior to visits or the day of a visit (which is a lie—they checked EVERY time). I then asked how much money she would have to pay the collection agency to close the matter, and she refused to tell me. I told her I unfortunately have no access to former claims or account history from my previous insurance company (since my PPOs change every few years under Medicare), and I have spent hours trying to resolve this by trying to contact the claims department under my current plan. I cannot get an explanation of benefits from 2018 and 2020, and Dr. Davis said she will not budge. So I guess I’m stuck getting called once a week for life from her collection agency. HORRID woman. Humorless, unsympathetic, insensitive, cheap, and unwilling to let a previous office error go as a courtesy to a former patient and current health care professional—as if I’d tried to skip out of town after thousands of dollars in restorative work). Ever heard of a preventive hygiene visit not being covered by insurance twice a year? Neither have I. That’s all I was there for. There’s a reason Dr. Davis only has a few reviews. She is a TERRIBLE and stingy business owner."

Everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Davis has an upbeat attitude and shows that they really enjoy working there. Everyone that I dealt with had a gentle touch, so if you have a fear of the dentist, don’t worry, they will put you at ease.
