"Dr. Theisen is one of the most down to earth Dentist I have ever been to. He not only makes you feel extremely comfortable, but he is also extremely educated. He gives you a piece of mind that makes you feel relaxed ( and always throws in a good laugh ). His actual work is also very well done, and you can tell he takes pride in his business. "I hadn't been to the dentist in years because I didn't have insurance. Once I did get dental this was the only place I could find that took my insurance that didn't have horrible reviews. The reviews were actually all really good so I made an appointment. I usually have slight dental anxiety and had sensitive teeth and gums. I usually hate even getting a cleaning because nobody is ever gentle and it feels like they scrape up my gums and it hurts. At my first appointment Dr. Theisen made me feel very comfortable, he wasn't judgmental at all, put me at ease and the cleaning didn't hurt. It was the first time I had ever been to the dentist and didn't hate it. I needed to have some fillings done and was nervous for that as well but same thing: he talked to me about things, making me not anxious, and took the time to make sure I couldn't feel anything before he used the drill. I feel so lucky that I found a place that not only takes my insurance but that is my favorite dentist I've ever been to by far. Thank you so much Dr. Theisen and staff for being my dental place! I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a caring dentist, who has UPMC for you, or anyone who usually has anxiety about it, because you won't anymore after going here!"

I just had to have all of my teeth extracted and I couldn't ask for a more professional atmosphere. Not once was I uncomfortable and he gave me the option to do top today and bottom later or all of them today. The latter being my choice.
