"I thoroughly enjoyed our visit.The staff is amazing and welcoming. My husband and I had our first visit and the process was easy, the facility was nice and modern, and the experience was very pleasant! I enjoyed the tv station and being able to watch old r&b videos was an awesome vibe while someone is looking at your teeth. I also ask a lot of questions and the dentist and staff took time to answer them all."
"They are always friendly at Melwood and honestly Dr. Patel is amazing! He's quick if there's any pain and tells you every step he's making and makes it quick so by the time you prepare for it.....hes done! Hes very nice and listens to your concerns....the office was designed with the patient in mind. You can watch TV while he is in your mouth because they are mounted to the ceiling......the staff is just as amazing as doc! They are always friendly and do their very best to keep you updated with apps and your bill. I would highly recommend them and I can be critical sometimes but these guys are awesome and I wouldn't go anywhere else!"

"Please stay away! I’ve been a patient with this office for a couple of years. Even after moving an hour away, I continued my time as a patient. As this business harassed me about an overdue cleaning service, I finally had time to schedule an appointment in which Jessica at the front desk neglected to inform me that my insurance was out of network. I followed proper protocol by providing my insurance at the time of scheduling the appointment (the day prior) and upon checking in at the time of arrival I was still not informed that my insurance was out of network. Following the cleaning that has been free for years via my insurance carrier, I was welcomed with a bill that was several hundred dollars. I asked Jessica, why was I not notified about the discontinuance of my insurance from my last service until now, in which she responded that it is the job of my insurance carrier to do so. However, my insurance carrier later confirmed that it is policy for the dentist practice to inform the patient as they cannot predict which practice their member elects. I asked Jessica if they are able to bill me given that I was never informed prior to initiating the cleaning service in which she denied that request, leaving me to pay. After calling back to inquire about the possibility of a small compensation due to the misunderstanding, Jessica informed me that Dr. Patel did not entertain the issue which leaves me to believe she was ignored as well as my concerns. If you choose this practice, I highly recommend that you confirm the balance prior to the initiation of all services as it appears that their focus is to get you in the door, initiate service and fight you for your money later. Luckily, due to my connections, I’m escalating this matter to authorities to ensure this does not happen to other patients."
"The hygienist was great but I was shocked at check out when I was informed that I had an outstanding balance of $500 from a procedure performed 6 months ago. I was given a treatment plan for the previous procedure with the price indicated and what fees the insurance company would pay and what my cost would be which I paid! I have been a patient at this practice for many years and have never experienced this! I was never informed about the bill nor that the dentist is no longer in network. I am very disappointed with the lack of transparency."
