"The dentists are fantastic and very reassuring. I have terrible teeth and thus have to avail myself of the dentist often. I have a lot of anxiety surrounding the dentist, moreover, because the Novocain tends not to work and also I have a sensitive vagus nerve, which means I kind of almost pass out as soon as I'm lowered into the chair. They are all very nice and always explain everything to me so that I understand and feel that I am not surrendering to some alien procedure. I also love the fact that they aren't every pushing procedures on me and are generally very conservative--wait , and then watch, and then intervene only when absolutely necessary. It makes me trust their judgement because when they say, okay, you do need to do x y z, then I know it's actually time to do it."

"We decided to come here because it was close to our house as our long-term dentist is all the way in Silver Spring Maryland and it’s quite a drive so being close to Kingstowne and seeing the great reviews, we decide to give it a try. Long story short I wouldn’t recommend going to this dentist. They lie and tell you that you have cavities when you don’t I was told I had one that had to be filled and to make an appointment. I had two teeth where it was small cavities and to check back in six months and then I had another one that was probably a cavity and I would need a root canal and to check in six months. I booked the appointment for the full, and then my husband had his appointment after he told me that he didn’t have a good experience after they tried to tell him that he had some cavities but he kept insisting and then they said oh well, never mind we don’t think you have any cavities and the fact that he had to chase after the dentist to ask questions. The dentist was in a hurry to to walk away, my husband had to follow the dentist to ask questions After this, I decided to go to my actual long-term dentist and get a second opinion, and I found out that I had zero cavities, none and that it wasn’t true at all and then I just needed to fill some of the old fillings that were coming off. They’re gonna lie and tell you that you have cavities when you don’t. Try to get you to do a deep cleaning. They’ll try to get you to spend money. They really don’t care about their patience very unethical, I’m really confused as to why they have such good reviews on Google. I don’t know whether they pay for them or what the situation is, if you do decide to go there, get a second opinion before you let them drill into your teeth."

"Kingstowne Family Dentistry is very prompt about getting me in within 5 minutes of arriving. I was very disappointed that when they told me I have bone loss in my jaw and I need to come 3 times a year instead of 2, they were not able to answer, or even understand my questions regarding if I would still be able to have prolia injections. I feel that their ability to communicate in English is limited."
