"From the recommendation by my insurance company's website to the favorable reviews, I have found the most convenient, honest, and professional dentist office to date! My experience with Dental Associates of Northern Virginia in Skyline, in particular Dr. Kang and her team, far exceeds my expectations. I was able to initially connect with ( I am so sorry I can't remember the receptionist name), the receptionist who immediately and quite proficiently executed the intake process... -even forwarding a link so I could electronically complete my initial intake paperwork ( Don't you think it is so outdated to waist time in offices completing lengthy paper work we could complete in the comfort and of our convenience at home). -thank you Dental Associates of Northern Virginia in Skyline for this option. With the help of Google maps/directions, Dental Associates of Northern Virginia in Skyline, and my Dr. Kang is easy to locate and once there, parking is plentiful and convenient. The intake (after completing an online profile) is a matter of showing a gov ID and taking a seat in a well lit and spacious and hygienic wait area while you wait for your appointment time. (I was taken in early, -I think I sat for 5 minutes?) Once in the evaluation area, I am seen, receive my treatment plan of care and given options of convenience for scheduling and payment. On a personal note, Dental Associates of Northern Virginia in Skyline, Dr. Kang, was a second opinion to a treatment plan I had received from another dentist office. I felt as if the prior dentist office was taking advantage of my limited knowledge in dental care, the urgency of the matter and offered a procedure that would have been thousands of dollars, uncovered by my insurance. I am so very fortunate that I listened to my inner voice and followed up with Dental Associates of Northern Virginia in Skyline as a second opinion. Within a matter of minutes, Dr. Kang was able to educate me on why she recommends her treatment plan. Dr. Kang made me feel as if I was a part of the decision making process, empowering me with the knowledge and rational of her recommendations (I personally found Dr. Kang and her team to be really patient and knowledgeable). I will follow up with a review after my treatment to share more greatness of Dental Associates of Northern Virginia in Skyline in particular my experience with Dr. Kang and her team. "Tracy, the dental staff and the dentists are excellent. Our whole family has been coming here for years. One of my favorite dental teams ever. The front desk staff are nice and considerate, but... I had to take two stars off for the new credit card policy (charging a fee!!!) that compounds the offices longtime refusal to properly handle FSA debit cards after many years of asking. I mean why the heck does it have to be so painful to pay you all? The most painful part is an accounting system which makes it difficult to get reimbursement and to track down charges in a timely manner. It's like a freaking root canal. Fix these problems and get firve stars from me and most others. No other doctors office puts us through such torment just to pay our bills. ."

As someone who is usually terrified of dental visits, the entire team — from the front desk to the hygienist and dentist—create a truly pleasant environment. My family were new patients at this office. My husband had to have major dental work; that was NEVER discussed at the previous dental practice we went to. "Avoid this practice at all costs! Our dental insurance covers two cleanings a year. We have never had to pay out of pocket for cleanings. This dentist is in network so the cleanings should be covered. We’ve been going there for 3-4 years, and they just decided to send my husband a bill for all of the cleanings he has had starting in 2020. We have the same insurance but they are only billing him for the cleanings while mine are being covered by insurance. If they billed us within a normal amount of time and we realized that there was an issue with their billing department, we would have immediately stopped going there. However, they waited 3 years to start billing us. We have been trying to reach someone at their office since they first billed us in July to get this resolved but they keep telling us that someone will call us back and they never do. We are working with our insurance company to get the issue resolved because the practice billed them incorrectly, but the practice sent us to collections while we were working on a resolution. The entire thing is a nightmare. Ironically, last year they had me prepay for a service which I ended up being owed a refund on because they overcharged me. It took them 8 months, countless phone calls, and an in-person meeting with the office manager to receive the refund. I would avoid this practice at all costs unless you want major headaches."

"Michelle and Veronica are the best! They were helpful with my insurance claim and were flexible with my appointments. Service has been prompt, and wait times have not been an issue. The office is nice, clean and spacious. Dr. Rotter has been great and I would recommend him."
