Reviews of ANGKOR International Travel Agency
"Every time I go to Cambodia, I always shoot them a text for purchasing tickets. They always get me taken care of and respond back to any questions or concerns I may have. Great travel agency, would recommend."
"They were very friendly and helpful! Got my mom the best deals on her flights and transportation. She was very knowledgeable, fast and efficient!"
"I Went By There As A Travel Agent To Give Them Some Business Opportunity To Help Them Out For There Clients Who Could Use A Very Great Discount On Getting Away During This Economic Crisis We Are Going Through, But They Didn't Seem To Interested. $99 For 4 Nights An 3 Days. I Thought It Would Be A Great Help To Get More People To Want To Book With Them. Oh Well"
"An experience of red flags. I inquired of a visa to my home country( K-Visa to Cambodia ). How much it would cost and what documents I needed. I was told only a passport was required with the fee of $35. It will be completed within 3 day. Also they were open 6 days a week from 10am to 6pm. Call ahead before my visit. I proceeded I will give her a call if I decide to make it out there. I called back within an hour to reiterate our conversation. Several times I stated “ for a K-visa ? I only need my passport? $35? ” Several times literally. Same answers were given. I drive 40 minutes to their location. The lady who answered the phone buzz’s me in realizing I had spoke to her on the phone. Then an older gentlemen takes charge. He request’s my passport, my birth certificate, my mothers birth certificate. ???? Ok sure?Makes copies of them then finally explains to me, “because you were born in America we are not sure if you can get a k-visa. We will request a k-visa for you with these copies I’ve made with your passport. The fee is not $35 it’s $50” This conversation was our last. Me: Why is it a maybe I will get the visa? Employee: Because back then it was okay but now things maybe change. Me: I did a lot of research, what is different now? Employee: Because now maybe covid. (Both employees are not wearing a mask) Me: So your sending my documents to the consulate to request a K visa? An it’s maybe I will get the visa? Employee: YOU WILL GET THE VISA JUST DURING THIS TIME WE DONT KNOW BECAUSE COVID(stern voice) Me: I need to do more research I’m sorry but thank you for your time. ??? If you know anything about k-visa’s in Cambodia, you need to be of Cambodian decent and past the prescreening which is sending those documents above to the consulate of Cambodia. VIA EMAIL FOR PRE-SCREENING.Then the consulate will contact you with further details. Red flags: 1.What if I didn’t have those documents on hand? Would my trip be for nothing? 2. Of course I wasn’t born in Cambodia? Why would I need a visa to a country I was born in? 3. Why is it a “maybe” I will get this k visa with the fee of $50 instead of $35 and that turns into “you will”? 4. Can’t I send these documents myself for less than $50? 5.Rumor is they have a sister location in south philly. I called them and they said $135???? I am sure they’ve helped plenty of people. Making their lives easier doing the calling and the sending for them for many other things. But I know enough not to give my documents to a couple of people who doesn’t even have their story straight. My entire experience was awful the moment I gave them a call. Be warned, older Cambodian customers would receive bad service but don’t know how to write a review. I wish not for anyone else to experience like I today. Stay informed and well."
