"Over $700 bill when I was quoted for far less. I definitely would have not come here. I've never paid that much before. They waited until after the service to check to make sure the insurance info was in... I had to come back multiple times to get my teeth looked at for things to be fixed after coming for a service. They tried to help. The $700 charge is my biggest annoyance. The people are nice. Another time, I was given anesthesia and immediately felt lightheaded and had difficulty breathing. The dentist started saying I was having a panic attack. I've never had one before and have never felt how I felt after thr anesthesia was given. I've gotten anesthesia so many other times and no issues."
"First time meeting Dr.Yazdani and she wasn’t welcoming at all. Maybe it was a bad day because it was busy and they’re short staffed but she didnt even acknowledge me. She seem very frustrated when I was talking to her. She is not a nice lady at all, teach her to be more kind to patients."
"Unfortunately this office has gone down since ownership changed. Please advocate for yourself and ask questions to avoid unnecessary charges. First visit under the new owner they tried charging me for fluoride treatment, which I never get. I told the receptionist I didn't get it and she said the hygienist put it in my chart. I repeated that I am certain I didn't get it and she went to go ask, and came back and didn't say anything except have a good day. Second visit, they said they had to do a panorex and I had to take all of my earrings out. Not once did the old practice do that, only bite wing x-rays. And someone I know got the panorex then was billed for an outside radiologist reading. I inquired about it and explained I've never gotten that before and asked if my insurance would cover it. The hygienist said they'd be right back, came back and just said we're not going to do it today. Nothing about insurance or what my cost would be. Third time they called 3 times in one day about needing me to come in earlier due to a scheduling conflict. Completely understandable that scheduling issues can happen but it's a weekday, people work, 3 calls two hours apart is excessive. I then received an email reminder about the appointment and they changed the time without talking to me and getting my approval. I hope this office improves for the sake of the patients still going there."
"My review is overwhelmingly positive because the dentist I was going to previously refused to do a regular cleaning in the whole time I interacted with him (8 visits). It was always "let's do a root canal! let's put a crown on! let's do a $2k deep gum cleaning!" It was all about the money, not providing the best care. It was a complete 180 when I went to Pointer Ridge. "Let's get your teeth in the best condition we can before we fix!" Oh my God! I was overjoyed. I got my teeth cleaned for the first time in over a decade because every other dentist just wanted to get as much money as they could from me and dental cleanings are fairly cheap. I never felt like I was not getting good care here or that I was being overcharged or treated unfairly."
"At first appearance I was comfortable. The more I’ve been a patient, it appears different strokes for different folks. Every time I went in my balance had to be paid in full, never was I offered a payment plan, until I overheard it being offered to another client. I then asked, why wasn’t I ever offer. She reluctantly explained it to me. I then asked, if my services I had done would go under the plan. She said not this time, maybe next time???? Next time, same scenario. I now know that certain type of people do and some don’t. This is why it’s not placed where ever has assess to view the offer. I just wanted fair treatment. The receptor hat handles the billing is the gatekeeper. She decided what you pay whether it’s fair or not. It’s not! Go elsewhere, I have"
