"We were new to this practice due to a change in my insurance. My college student son went for a routine cleaning over the summer. He asked to make an appointment for his Christmas break. They said it was too soon for him to make an appointment and that they would text him to remind him to make an appointment nearer the time when he would be eligible for his next cleaning. They never texted him. He came home for Christmas break and called to make an appointment, and they were unable to fit him in. He has now gone back to school and will not be back in Maryland until May. Extremely disappointed in their inability to schedule for a student who only comes in town at very specific times. Update - I called several weeks later to make my own appointment and I was passed over to someone to discuss my negative review. She was very pleasant and explained that they do not make appointments six months out for individuals with our insurance because the insurance company has at times randomly reassigned people to other dentists and they make appointments only within two months to ensure they are in fact covered. That seems to be a reason to confirm insurance and cancel an appointment if someone is uninsured, not a reason not to make an appointment six months out. In any event, she also explained that they use a third party vendor to send the text reminders, and unfortunately, that company did not send the reminder text. And finally, she explained that they called my son three times over his break to fit him in during another cancelled spot. However, the appointments she had offered him were when we were out of the country and after he had already gone back to school. The only way to end that call would have been to then schedule my appointment. She declined to do so. She told me that she was instructed to report back to management about our conversation in order to determine how to proceed. I can only interpret that to mean I have been effectively discharged from this practice. That is because there are only two possible outcomes - the first is that they refuse to schedule me an appointment because I gave a negative review. And the second is that they agree to give me an appointment, which of course I cannot go to - interactions with health care providers should not be adversarial, and refusing to make an appointment until a discussion about how to proceed with management is retaliatory, albeit an excellent way to ensure great reviews. It is possible that my son and the dental practice had a miscommunication regarding the dates he was available for a cancelled appointment. Even if that were true, that is no reason to create an adversarial relationship with a patient. We gave a bad review that was very specific to these unique circumstances, and we were given the message plain and clear that bad reviews are not allowed at this practice."

"Excellent place to have your teeth taken care of. The staff and the doctors are very professional and friendly. The receptionist is very knowledgeable and caring. Try visiting them and you’ll never regret choosing their office. I’ve already recommended them to my wife and she has already scheduled an appointment for Thursday."

"I’ve been going here for about 30 years, first with Dr Mazursky, now with Dr Ghorbani. Rachel has been keeping my teeth in great shape for many years now and I really appreciate that. Today’s visit was another great experience and they were even able to fix a filling that had fallen out right away."

"I work in customer service and sales and believe anyone can have a bad day, so when my first experience with this facility was below par, I decided to give it another chance. I’ve been there 3 times. The receptionist is friendly, but that’s the best. The dentist was average to say the least. All this pales in contrast to the horrible dental hygienist. She is an absolute disgrace to her profession. She takes pleasure in shaming you and belittling you. Really not a good experience. I never write bad reviews, but if this can help one other person, it’s worth it to me."

"My first visit. They seem to be very thorough and I was happy with my experience overall. I was about 5 minutes late for my appointment, but then had to wait another 35 minutes to be taken back. I understand delays, though it would have been nice to have someone let me know how long it would be, or even just acknowledge the delay. FOLLOW UP: The dentist called later in the afternoon to apologize for the delay and lack of communication. It was not necessary, but much appreciated."
