Thé pédestrian work such as cleanings were well done and the more complex matters such as root canal, crown, insurance for such and hiccups along the way were handled with grace!!! "We'll start by getting this out of the way: I grind my teeth a lot, and have pretty significant visible damage to my teeth because of it. That's a fact, so they're by no means perfect - but I keep my teeth very clean. The hygienist at this office is just plain mean. During the cleaning, my gums hurt to the point of me actually crying, and when I said something about it, the hygienist just scolded me that it wouldn't hurt so much if I would stop drinking so much soda. For the record, I don't drink soda, and don't drink any sugary drinks. None of my cleanings at the place I went before ever hurt. I waited to post this review until I visited a new dentist's office, to make sure it wasn't just my hygiene declining. What a surprise, my new dentist told me my teeth look excellent with respect to cleaning, and the cleaning at the new office was completely pain-free. Additionally, the hygienist here lied to me that my insurance wouldn't cover a fluoride treatment, which I thought was strange so I didn't get it. Turns out my insurance totally covers fluoride, which is pretty universally standard. They wouldn't do it for me once I verified that it was indeed covered, because it was "too late". On top of the weirdly painful cleaning here, scolding me like a child for drinking so much soda is just.. wrong. Even if I did drink soda (which I told her many times I didn't), you don't scold an adult repeatedly for their lifestyle - that's just bad patient care. A gentle reminder is reasonable; shaming is not. Finally, the first time I came in they freaked out and told me "YOU NEED A MOUTHGUARD IMMEDIATELY". Which, yes, I did, so I immediately set up an appointment to get one made. However, when I went to pick it up, the dentist continually canceled the appointments which resulted in me taking a month to actually pick it up, so it seems like it was only urgent insofar as they felt the need to shame me. The one plus I will give this place is how much the people at the front desk fought my insurance when they tried to weasel out of paying for my dental care. That's the only reason it has a second star."
