Reviews of Walmart Pharmacy
"The pharmacist did a great job with helping solve an issue quickly. I am grateful for his great customer service."
"Hit or miss depending on who’s working. The man with accent is rude & lazy. He will claim prescription is not covered by my insurance & tries to charge me retail price even though it has been filled at other pharmacies just fine."
"Pharmacy tells patients with COVID to come in to get scripts. Then tells them to leave and find someone else to pickup at closing (7 pm) as if sick patients have the energy to play this game. Blames it on their pharmacy license because they don’t have enough licensed employees to counsel patients at car. But if you come back at 7 pm, “maybe we can accommodate”. Super nice info for my 80 year old family member with COVID. In the time you could explain your non-policy to the sick elder in the N-95 who was only in the Walmart because you told her this was her only way to get these meds (since she has no one she knows within 3 states to pick them up for her) you could have completed the counseling. We’re 2.5 years into this pandemic. Do better. Tell patients the truth on the phone instead of asking them to come in, then leave with active COVID. Tell them you don’t care (the truth) and they should transfer the script elsewhere (sage advice). If you are immunocompromised, go elsewhere. Like your life depends on it. Because it does. They are encouraging active cases in their doors to stand next to you. You with chemo. You who are pregnant. You who are recovering from any other host of ailments. Disgraceful."
"This pharmacy is a joke and an absolute nightmare. The pharmacy tech that I dealt with last time was so rude she shouldn’t even have a job. She’s lucky I didn’t retaliate. Every time I come to pick up my medication I’m told it was never called in by my doctor. I feel as if I’m treated like an addict because I’m picking up a controlled substance. I will never refill my prescription here again because the staff is incredibly incompetent. I ran out of my medication that I take for seizures and had a seizure because they refused to give me my medication and went into withdrawals. So thanks for that. Get your acts together"
"My over one year experience with this pharmacy led to problems with communication and social etiquette. For instance, the customer representatives had trouble speaking and understanding English over the phone. As a result, my orders were incorrect. Also, they told me my orders were filled over the phone or through text messages. However, when I arrived to pick them up they were not only not filled, but could not be filled at all. In addition, there was a lack of social etiquette. One of the lead pharmacists consistently interrupted me while I was trying to complete a statement. Furthermore, they would never apologize or show sensitivity for mistakes, complications, tardiness etc. All in all, I would not reccomend this pharmacy. The central issue was communication. A firm grasp of the English language and American social etiquette are essential in the healthcare of people in Maryland."
