Reviews
"Was there for a meeting love the place they have a model of the old Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church building on display inside."
"Attended a family Christmas party at the center. I love the atmosphere. Very clean, with very interesting historical items in every room."
"It was really fun to see the different things they have. They have a pig from Noah ark from Kennywood. They have a nice little setup for g.c. Murphy's and other stores that used to be in McKeesport. They have some pictures throughout the building and posters from movies. They have some really cool posters/ads for Kennywood as well. The sports memorabilia is really cool to look at even if you aren't a sports fan. They have different uniforms and war artifacts. They have a few purple hearts on display. Overall a great way to spend some the day by yourself or with a friend."
"What a great little museum. It was great reminiscing of times gone by. The built a structure around the one room school house to preserve it. We had a great time. Perfect for a history buff interested in the history of McKeesport/surrounding areas. It is free to enter, but donations are accepted."
"We went for the annual festival of trees (Christmas) and discovered that the McKeesport Regional History Center was open. The festival of trees was really nice, over 100 trees decorated by local business' and organizations. If you are interested in regional history, the history center really has a lot of interesting displays with information on a wide variety of subjects. This made for a very enjoyable evening family outing."
