"The staff members walked us around and have us so much really good information, they were so friendly and helpful!"
"James Madison Jr. March 16, 1751β June 28, 1836) was an American statesman, diplomat, and Founding Father who served as the 4th president of the United States from 1809 to 1817"
"Surprisingly cool and diverse museum for such a small town. Came for the Booth manhunt stuff, but was surprised to find plenty of other things of interest such as a near-complete series of White House China."
"They are open on Saturdays. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. If you want to know the history of Port Royal I would definitely recommend taking a tour. My personal tour guide Karrie was legit. Really interesting fossils antiques paintings and even presidential china can be viewed here. There is even a nifty gift shop. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was I thought they could use a lot more space for all the history that took place here in Port Royal. A Beautifull pit stop."
"Very knowledgable and friendly staff. They have several items from history pertaining to the area. Nice collection of antiques from history. If you are a John Wilkes Boothe historian, they have some artifacts and section on his flight from D.C. down to Port Royal where he was shot and died. Downside is that they are only open on Saturdays from noon till 4:00. But if you like history, it is worth a stop to check them out."
