"I’ve been a long time patient at Smiles R Us in Woodlawn and this review isn’t reflective of my entire experience but cause of recent issues I’ve decided to switch providers and leave a review hoping their performance improves for future patients and customers. As I’ve mentioned, I haven’t had this experience the entire time. When I first became a patient, I was very impressed with their service. They were quick, organized and very professional. The hygienist at the time were thorough and knowledgeable. After years of that experience, recently (within the last year) my experience has been the complete opposite. First they’ve become very unprofessional administratively. They book appointments on days when the office is closed or when the Dr. is out and are very unprofessional in following up to reschedule your service. My last few visits I’ve booked appoints for a specific time and sat and waited for almost an hour to be seen. One time, they needed to perform a minor cavity fill-in and they injected the wrong side of my mouth with numbing solution and the billing statement counted two shots even though I only need one… very unprofessional and I could’ve pursed legal assistance, but didn’t. To top it all off they stopped giving out the bags with a new toothbrush and travel size toothpaste, floss etc. I’m guessing they’re experiencing budget challenges.. overall I wouldn’t recommend unless they fix the administration challenges!! If you do decide to go, be aware of the challenges described."

"Today was my first visit. I had a family emergency and ended up having to bring my baby. Entire staff made me feel welcome and were very nurturing when I had to step away from my infant. I expected to be sent home but I’m glad I showed up anyway. Was also surprised at how much was able to be done in one day. Everyone behaved professionally and I’ll definitely be coming back. Exceptional customer service is hard to find so thank you Smiles R us!"
