"Today was my first appointment and I had an incredible experience. I initially called for a cracked filling but since I was a new patient, I had to have a full exam. I had not gone to the dentist since COVID due to my previous office temporarily closing and I didn’t really like that office anyway. When I told the hygienist and Dr. Etzkorn this, neither shamed me for it. They both understood and didn’t say anything else about it. I also told the hygienist that I’m not the best with flossing so I know there’s some inflammation in my gums. She explained to me what she was seeing and how I can fix it at home without making me feel like I was horrible for neglecting to floss. Neither the hygienist nor Dr. Etzkorn tried to use scare tactics to make me take care of my teeth. Dr. Etzkorn was very thorough and explained everything in a way no one had before. She was able to give me more of a why rather than just “this is what you have to do!” She even understood some of the anxieties I was having about certain things I may need done and was very sympathetic about it. I appreciated not being reprimanded or lectured about things. I would recommend them to anyone! I went back to work after my appointment and told everyone in my office to go here if they’re looking for a new dentist!"

"I had my first appointment today at Westminster Family Dentistry. It is honestly the best dentistry I have ever been to. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and so helpful! Everything was extremely updated and clean. They explain everything they were doing step by step, which I found very helpful and comforting. I have never had a dentist give me so much information on my teeth before. They also checked me for oral cancer which was a first as well and I definitely appreciated. Best dentist EVER. I already scheduled my next appointment :)"

"Friendly and courteous dentist and staff. Dr. Etzkorn's office has provided the absolute best dental experience of my life. They are always on time, thorough, gentle and informative. The staff has gone to great lengths to attempt to optimize my dental insurance coverage for needed procedures. The office is clean and bright, and they use modern digital x-rays which result is less radiation exposure."

"This is the most pleasant medical office I have ever been too. My employer lost a major contract and I lost my medical benefits due to all full timers being made part time. I am also pregnant so my option was to use medical assistance. There is a program called MD healthy smiles that I qualify for during my pregnancy. Not many dentist offices accept this. Westminster Family Dentristy did! I was nervous and partially embarrassed by my situation but the receptionist was extremely kind and never once made me feel uncomfortable for using the MA program. I greatly appreciated that because I feel that a lot of places discriminate against patients who have limited means. The hygienists are all lovely. They take the time to explain what they are doing and why. They ask you questions and actually engage in conversation with you. Being treated like a person and not just a case file goes a long way! Dr. E is amazing. She is gentle and also takes the time to explain procedures and what tools she is using. She explains what sensations you may or may not feel and gives you tips on tooth maintenance in words you can understand! She is friendly and kind which is what will keep me as a long term patient. The office itself is very clean and modern but warm and inviting at the same time. After my first office visit, I received a hand written card from Dr. E welcoming me to the practice. That in itself made me feel welcomed. I highly recommend this office!"
