"Walk along the dock to see Ego Alley, Annapolis waterfront, the Spa Creek Bridge, and Eastport across Spa Creek. You can dock your boat here. Exceptional sunrises and rainbows can be found here, as well as local events like the Navy band and fireworks."
"Beautiful! There were so many boats to look at and there was a gentleman playing live music nearby. We had just missed a sailboat parade of some kind but we made sure to note it for next year. We went during the afternoon on a week day so it was not crowded at all."
"Annapolis Clarion Prayer for the City. Mrs. Terry Henson lead us on a weeks long experience to cover the City of Annapolis is prayer. This has been an exciting and spirit lead week.."
"We came to Annapolis from Baltimore to sightsee and have a date night. Susan Campbell Park is located in the heart of Annapolis. We went to one of the restaurants and then walked to the docks and on Main Street to checkout some stores. The park/city docks have benches to sit on. There are newspaper machines too. Cobblestone walkway creates part of the historic feel but beware you can trip easily since it is not flat/even and some of them are coming up. There are bathrooms and showers for boaters nearby. They have parking but it can be a bit tight β some of it is free while others are metered. We hung out a while just looking at the water and people-watching. Great area for people watching if you are into that. We did not partake in getting the famous ice cream nearby (Storm Brothers) since we were still full from dinner but it is a popular place. The Naval Academy is nearby as well if you want to visit that but check the times. It is very beautiful at the docks/park. Main Street has a ton of different restaurants, dessert/ice cream shops, services like real estate, shopping such as spices, clothing, books, Maryland souvenirs, beach themed items, gifts, and specialty shops. I would definitely recommend going to the park/city dock and main street. It is great if you are by yourself, with friends or family, or a date night."
"Absolute perfect place to watch the sunrise. You'll often see students from St. Johns, people in photo clubs, and other photographers. Myself included. I wouldn't suggest taking food if you want peace though. Plenty of the local DTA ducks will aggressively approach you for a bite or two, or everything you have! Literally there's no "ducking" them within that twenty five yard perimeter. I'd stick to coffee or tea. You can see from time to time; boats docked from all over the world. Including New Zealand. Not often are there people passed out, whether homeless, or just sleeping off the excessive drinking. All depending on when you visit, you might be fortunate enough to catch members of our local Naval Academy as they're initiated. Keep your eye's peeled for huge blue heron that often hang out around the docks before sun breaks. Lighting is good and there's usually joggers passing through, or crabbers on the opposite side of the docks "chicken necking" and occasionally that cute couple experiencing their first or one of many Annapolis City sunrises... It's certainly a must do if you're in town."
